Time of the Month

Ok, so we can't be the only ones this effects and me being the curious sole I am, wondered what others views, experiences etc are.
I'm sure we've all done it, arranged a meet, got all excited about our 'play date' lol

then your period starts and ruins everything!
or does it?
We've meet people and, being as open as we are (probably far too open!) tell them quite frankly that play will be resumed after 'the time of the month' biggrin

unless they want to carry on regardless :twisted: with the meet and / or play
Now, we've met some that, quite frankly, this doesn't bother , and they are quite happy to play regardless of any mess involved (just makes everything more wet, was something we were once told redface

Some want to wait - we are happy either way, dependant on H's mood, we can carry on or wait for another time :P
We've had meets cancelled under the guise of something else, only for them to later confess it was really because x or Y was having a period!
How do you handle 'womens problems' wrecking best laid plans?

ahhh this was never a problem as I don't get them. But now that wor lass and I are arranging to meet people together. It has become more of a problem.
It personally doesn't bother me. It is all part of natural functioning. Wor lass won't let me have sex with her if she is bleeding.
Apparantly there is a tablet that a woman can take to delay her period a couple of days? I don't know how true this is but am going to send wor lass to get it for a meet we have planned.

i wont play if its "time of the month" but being pretty regular i know the dates to stay away from when planning meets.
Vice versa not sure i would agree to meet some one at the time if they mentioned they were bleeding but then i have a little bad habit of occasionally fainting at the sight of blood redface

really helpful when the son comes running in with mouthful of blood and red stained t shirt where he has fallen over :scared:

I was prescribed this when I did my charity trek and had to take them for 10 days, starting 3 before I was leaving( can't be changing tampons up the Atlas Mountains ffs! rolleyes

) but I don't think the GP will prescribe them for a swinging meet but what a fab idea! rotflmao

Being very unpredictable my woman's week has ruined far more fun than I've actually had as my periods are extreme to say the least mad

although I'm happy just to give at times like that wink

We don't like to play during cycles. Not a nice thought for us I'm afraid. As an aside the STI risks are higher I believe when a woman is menstruating.
Anyway, we always plan our meets around my periods and as I have natural, short and not always regular cycles this can be a pain, especially working around another woman's cycle and two sets of babysitters!.
With regard to a meet, only once did I get caught out, which was on my fecking BIG birthday, I had a shorter period than I have EVER had in my life. And to make it worse the other lady had taken the period delaying pill specially so we could play on this big party night. Bloody frustrating, quite literally. mad

Splendid. Just spin a nice tale about a special anniversary weekend. Worked for our friend. wink

Yes I can highly recommend these pills. Very rarely have to use them. Once for a holiday and once for a munch and they worked a treat both times with no side effects.
Sassy you're not supposed to tell your doctor why you want them. rolleyes

Just saying that you need to delay your period is enough. :P

I've not got an image of Sassy at the doctors getting flustered over trying to explain why she wants the tablet :lol2:
The other thing to to is you can get special sponges that are just like tampons with out the string.....you just pop it up before playing and take it out after. Job done smile

Well I only get one once a month so I tend to arrange meets in the middle kind of makes sense doesn't it? dunno

And I apologise in advance if any woman gets them at random times.
Absolutely no way hose would I play whilst on my period, cramp, spots, bloat, etc etc., not a chance!

Since I had a load of gynae work 2 years ago, I'm extremely regular and lasts only 4 days - after years of pain etc, I can highly recommend it - lol

I lose interest before and get incredibly horny (I mean shag anything horny) but I'd never play during cos I'm squeamish as well. So I get really frustrated and have to save all my horniness for later.

I'm like this - think it's the hormone changes but i get soooooo horny at times when i'm on! Other times i'm curled in a ball either sleeping or growling lol
It's funny, Mr DS is not interested in playing 'at the time of the month', but I have played with some that don't mind - and have to say, it was good :twisted:
After years of being on the pill and trying the coil - Mr DS went and got himself 'fixed' - which is great, but it means i don't have a clue when i'm going to start lol (although the growling gives me aclue I'm probably due ! wink

There must have been a time when 'humans' only mated during the autuumn. The males charged about and banged heads, the females were aroused and came into 'season', or so Bill Oddie would explain it.
The duration being about 2-3 months, then everyone got back to normal routine. Allowing everyone at least 9 months of stresss free life.
Sounds quite civilised actually.

yep can go with wot most are saying in this thread lol but im horny 24/7 lol but day b4 i bleed im wanting to shag anything and that feeling last about 6 days lol and after it gets me back to my horny level but like mr ds mr c wont shag when im on a period but must confess i have tricked him a good few times and said its stopped or yeah its ok its only a bit just to get my needs nawty i know but wot am i to do lol
