Does everyone have the same problem with time-wasters?
In the last two weeks I seem to have had more than my fair share (around 25% of those who've been in touch with me either by PM or to my email). rolleyes
Are they just nervous about following through? Do they do it intentionally or what? dunno :undecided:
I have to say that the rest of you are lovely!!

The time wasters are really annoying but I just hate the guys to decide to pm you, totally uninvited and then go on to tell you just what they want to do to you! Then one cleaver 'git', who I have told about 20 time that I am not interested, pm's again and says he knows I dont 'sleep around' so he won't bother with condoms! Is he real! evil
It''s the nature of the game hon. We all get it. You get used to it and forget about it after a while.
Speedo biggrin :D
i think everyone has been subject to timewasters... i suppose the good thing about the forums is that is if i answer an ad...i point then towards this and my ad to try and show i am genuine....

Had you arranged to meet them or were they just pic collectors?

Had arranged to meet 2 of them (separately), was going to accommodate one and gave them my address. Haven't heard a peep since.
I couldn't give a damn, and am not concered about it, just interested in speculating about where they are coming from!!
biggrin
I could swear, but i am too much of a lady to be doing that.
Such actions really get to me; why do it? If they want to take up sport they should go fishing!

Some get a buzz out of arranging meets, but have no intention of ever meeting.

Think you have hit the nail on the head. They must get a buzz from what has been discussed with them about your likes and idlikes.
If all they wanted was a story about our interesting sex life, they only need to ask.
But no no, they arrange a time, place then f#*k all else.
Just remember, what goes around comes around
Yeh yeh, pissed off Gill tonight evil

Eager, is this me? or am i just paranoid - always blooming paranoid
Everyone suffers from timewasters... doesn't matter if you're single or a couple, male female or trans, gay, bi or straight..... there is a timewaster to fit every single occassion rolleyes    Best not let it get to you..... but it gets to everyone sooner or later. The no shows I think are the worst, but all are annoying....
i won't meet privately unless ive chatted on the phone. And boy can i talk for hours! yes ive had timewaster emails too.
sad
not been stood up exactly (not arranged enough meets!) ... but I have been stood down...
...arranged a meet for a drink (straight up, no sniggerring at the back!) with an indian princess and all eventually went according to plan. there she was exactly where we'd agreed to meet - Virgin Records @ Oxford St - and fitting her description. but !!!!
(has anyone else noticed how there often is a 'but' when fantasy collides with reality?) .... my dream date claimed not to know what or who i was talking about redface .
i waited patiently at a polite distance. not for the real princess to turn up.... i was sure of that! but just to see my non-date wait a minute or two before walking off into the crowds, mobile phone switched off and never to be heard from again.
i wasn't offended just bemused (which soon turned to 'amused')... as i take my chances and live with the consequences. obviously i wasn't quite the vision of masculinity that she had conjured up from our conversations. well i do have a good telephone manner though i say so myself - too good in this instance. lol.
Thats my main worry! Timewasters, only time will tell what will happen with my ad, fingers crossed we get lucky! smile
Hey all its been months since I've been here but its good to be back and see everyone is still around.
Well regarding timewasters, I have always thought that some of the real swingers that have met and do get together should set up a private web site with a list of their names and contact details. Then if someone is really keen to meet they can make it known and, after the meet they can be added to the list. The list can also hold a list of people that are known timewasters so that new people joining the list can get an idea who is serious out there and who isnt.
Just a thought.

Ohh hopefully that would be me then ;)
Time wasters are a fact of life in every walk of life...
One of the forums i'm on photography wise has the same problem...
I prefer the term wanabe's, both photographers and models suffer from them equally... they wana be, but never quite get there... usually the bottle goes, I think its rare to get a real timewaster... but when you do, oh boy what a pain in the preverbial!
Naughty wigan couple, if after a polite thanks but no thanks they dont go away... just ignore, they get bored and go bother someone else very quickly... while they get feed back of some kind they have (or feel they have) a hold and empathy. Reality is if you said, "cool we can meet, but when you are fecking me, my husband wants to feck you at the same time..." they will run a mile and you'll never hear from them again, it used to work with my ex and I... but then again, we may have followed it up if they were cute enough, lol.
