After reading a few threads on here recently I have decided I am a time waster.
How I have decided this is by answering a few simple questions in my head.
1. I used to meet but don't anymore must = A time waster
2. I chat and have a laugh with people and because of number 1 above = A time waster
3. I don't arrange meets anymore = A time waster
4. I like chatting to people with like minds = wasting their time.
So adding it all up I must be a time waster and proud to be one.
Would any other time wasters like to unite with me?

Don't have SHREP enabled here Minxy which makes me a timewaster by definition it would seem. rolleyes

I dunno if we got shrep enabled or not nor do i know how to enable, disable, disenenable, coffee table, tower of babel, cable, label, or fable it neither am I bothered about finding out. However we do meet and we do chat in chatrooms with people we may well meet but neither of us wank on cam or ask questions or say statements to the effect of we're very close or whisper "can I whisper" or ask whether someone does anal instead of a hello as an introduction so I dont know if we're time wasters or not

We're not sure either... We have SHREP enabled (because LB1 is over-zealous and read about everything when we joined the site!), we do meet occasionally, but we also chat to people just because we like them!! Can we join...?

We are guilty of being timewasters.
We have patiently wasted our time writing in our profile who we are looking to meet with. We have also patiently wasted our time writing an advert that also states who we are looking to meet with.
We have also wasted the time of many people that come nowhere close to our profile, by forcing them to send us winks or copy and paste messages.
However, in mitigation and defence we have also saved many hours of other people time by allowing them the luxury of totally ignoring anything we wrote anywhere, ever.

People often say I am a waste of time
not sure if that's the same as being a time waster
I don't meet anyone (no one wants to meet me more like) I have a empty profile, no photos and until today I thought Shrep was a dog .... Im getting confused now, going for a lie down

Checked the rules, you do not have to meet people to be a member of this site, notwithstanding that if you are a member, talk about meeting when you contact people but never do the situation is different

So in short if you want to use the site to chat with lifestylers, keep in touch with friends, fnd out about the scene before taking part, attend munches and socials, are upfront and honest about why your here then you are not breaking any rules and should be welcome on the site without fear of abuse from self centred, over opinionated people.
There are many different views of what makes up a timewaster, for me these are such
Those that talk the talk about meeting but never actually get round to it.
Those that arrange meets but never turn up, albeit there are sometimes mitigating circumstances for cancelling there is no excuse for not letting people know.
Those that mail you about meeting without any intention of doing so
Those that contact you about meeting without reading your profile to find that you are not looking for what they are offering/status/criteria etc
Those that make no effort with thier profile but contact you because they like yours and the effort you have put into it
There are probably more.
At the end of the day though, we don't let it get to us, it is part of being in the scene online and the genuine people that we meet makes it all worthwhile

For me a timewaster is someone who goes through any and all of the motions for a meet with little or no intention of actually turning up; a fantasist or a BS artist in short !!

Thing is this is supposed to be a swingers site not a place for old mates to chat and keep up. That is what facebook is for. Unless you are upfront all the time about the fact that you are not meeting at all then you leave yourself wide open (and rightly so) to the charge of time waster.
And the fact you fail to realise this and think those that get annoyed with you are in the wrong perfectly demonstrates the cliquey nature that has now greatly damaged the credibility of the site as a place for actual swingers who meet rather than just a chatroom.

what a load of trolop
we only meet about twice a year if that due to other commitments, does that mean we should only come in here twice a year ?????
typical example* guy in chat room advertises local male want meet now so we asked in chat if he wanted to come over he said "oh i wasn't expecting a meet i was hoping to talk to someone first you know get to know them " so we asked was he really looking for a meet now, he replied "no" and went off line dunno

that's a time waster and exactly why the site is like it is and not the old guard that's keeping the chat rooms going
