Now whilst I've not had to cancel a meet (yet) I have had to pull out of 3 social events (one with only hours to go) and cancel going to a munch I was going to later this year due to personal reasons, and the organisers have understood my situation and that was the end of the matter. Now with out me getting into a debate (I can't be arsed) lets say they wern't social meets they were sexual ones, but I had the same reasons for cancelling and the couple were not the understanding type I have a black mark linked to my profile for all to see due to reasons that were way beyond my control.

I have never let anyone down intentionally except in the case of emergencies but have been stood up numerous times by people I have arranged to meet through ads or after talking in the chatroom. The very rare occasion I have had to let somebody down I have either text them or sent them a PM to apologise and to explain the situation. Pity they cant have the same decency and do the same in return.

we may have a differant view of time wasters here. my idea of a time waster is one who plays email tennis and then doesnt show, without even a last minute phone call. personaly if I got a call within half an hour with, a good reason for it I would be happy its the ones that dont even send an email l8r or at least a message. and then when you log in to all of a sudden they disapear of line. thats the type of person I mean. thankfully I have met more genuine people than fakes. And every one can have perfectly valid reasons for dropping out at the last minute , and being a single parent I understand this as well as anyone, but a phone call is just common courtesy!

my initial idea wasnt naming anyone it was just a competition that makes being stood up exhilerating & fun..so if they show u have a great time & if they dont u have a great time too

I prefer the idea of love making to f**king. I believe sexuality in society will change & multiple lovers will become the norm. What do you think? When it does I hope it will be beautiful & not just cold & impersonal meat market kinda experience
