Well, I could tell you a story about when I got written all over with felt tip, which wasn't that bad to remove actually, but then there was the time with the marker pen - I wasn't so fortunate with the removal that time - ouch :shock: Does this mean I've led a "colourful" life? Having been the subject of much time wasting ourselves and the age old problem of finding genuine couples i have given this some thought. Here is my five penneth worth. biggrin

It may be a bad idea, it may be unworkable or open to abuse but it is a small nub of an idea. Here goes.....
Two couples meet. (or could be any combination really) They go back onto website and there is a form - a bit like eBay - where they enter their own ad number and password and the ad number of the other couple (single - whatever) and tick a box that says that they have met - not had their time wasted and the others were as described etc. There is no space for personal comments otherwise the system then needs to be monitored for abuse. The other party would do exectly the same. The system then compares and sees it has a comment of genuine nature from couple 1111 about couple 2222. It looks for a comment of genuine nature from couple 2222 about couple 1111. If it finds it then it puts a star against the ad of both couples. This can happen for up to 5 times and you can earn five gold stars.
(Anyone feel like they are working for McRonald yet!)
Other members can see the stars. They do not need to know anything about the parties that have met or whether couple 1 thought her tits were too small or his cock was too big as that is personal to each couple. What it does mean is that registered couples on the site will be able to authenticate that others are as they say they are and did not mess people about. It needs no sys admin time as it contains nothing personal.
We as a couple would be happy to authenticate others - if they choose not to authenticate us then that is up to them - neither of us gets a gold star. There is no need for more than 5 gold stars as it becomes superfluous (spelling might be suspect on that - redface

- you know what i meant!) and so long as people know it only means that couple 1111 has been met by 5 couples and they are as they seem and not that 1111 is a good shag (lets face it if the system did that then i would earn no stars - hahaha :cry: )
Now - as i said it is only an idea. Shoot it full of holes if it has them - but don't come looking for me with the same gun - despite what people may think i have an aversion to pain!
Mark, i appreciate that the coding on this may be a lot of work or even unworkable. What i know about dbase and html can be written on the back of a postage stamp!

Just to make clear, this is just about people who wish to arrange meetings, not about whether someone is genuine or not?
Only got one hole.
As a new member who has not been here long enough to earn a star of any sort, would it end up as a barrier to me ever earning a star. or even worse, would it make it so difficult to earn a star that I gave up hope without trying? Could end up a very closed and stagnant forum.
Could give me L plates I suppose. lol
