apologies to shakespeare.
Why is it more acceptable (normal, usual or whatever word you'd choose to insert here) for women to be bi than men? Have the guys experimented, and if not then why not?

Difficult one really,
I think when men think about it maybe they get scared of the thought of penetration or how it effects there masculinity (although Alexander the Great was bi and you can't really get more alpha male than him!) But there are a lot of bi's or bi-curious on this site.

I think the expression bi has become a convenience category. unlike the box of hetero or gay, it is a resealable packet.

I think maybe sometimes from the female perspective its a means to an end? I think some ladies are more comfortable with other ladies bodies even if they are not bi. I dont think thats so true with men. A bad example maybe is those girls you see on reality type programmes stood on tables at nightclubs snogging the best friend. There not Bi but they are comfortabel doing it. You would be hard pushed to find two non Bi men that would do the same. In our own swinginging experiences I am pretty sure I have been able to spot the playing bi girls from the real bi girls.
As there seems to be a larger demmand for wnat of a better word for Bi girl couples it can be easier for girls to play bi if they dont mind. I think you will find there are more couple profiles with bi fems than there are straight ones?

I'm fairly sure, and I speak from experience, that many more men than women will indulge in bisexual activities. That's not in any way suggesting that less women have bisexual urges, they are just less likely to be promiscuous. The difference is that most men are afraid of being exposed as bisexual. I suspect that they fear their masculinity will be questioned by their peers, by their families, and by women generally if their activities are disclosed. Furthermore it's likely that a high proportion are indulging in extra marital activities which they feel a need to keep secret.
I've said this before, most of a rent boy's clients are likely to be married men, the remainder are likely to be an equal mix of gay men and men who declare themselves to be straight.
