To mow or not to mow......

Hey guys.....
You know when the wife/girlfriend/husband/boyfriend bugs ya to do the lawns and you think to yourself "Christ....Do i really have to??"....
Its worth doing it you know....
I mowed just one of our lawns this morning and have been offered a take and the promise of my good lady "wearing something nice" for me ....
Gives a whole new outlook on the whole DIY/gardening thing dont ya think?

No wonder our lawn doesn't get mowed at all until it's 6ft high and we've lost the dog in it. Jon gets these things on a daily basis so they alone wouldn't tempt him into doing the lawn rolleyes

Any suggestions as to what I can offer him that might get him out there with his mower? :twisted:

steve! please STFU, you'll be giving 'em ideas!
as far as i'm concerned, grass and hedges are now dormant until spring. that's my excuse, and i'm sticking to it!
beer and food and something nice indeed! pah! all i get is you missed a bit and it's not very straight is it? not to mention ripped to bits on brambles, stung with nettles, and pebble dashed with dog shite!

I tried that one before, but being an ex Commando, he found me straight away :P

If he's an ex bootneck, tell him the lawn is mined. He'll have to clear it then!!

You'd do it for that?! I'm sure Vix & I could arrange something far more.. erm... "generous" ;) - and our garden's in desperate need of tending!
S'pose I'd better get out the mower and at least do the front, though, as we share our front garden with a graveyard...and the tall grass just gives our cat Peter a good hiding place from which to sneak up on and terrorize mourners! :P
