To much or to little?

When looking at others profiles are you put off by people who have to much in there are you the sort of person that beleives less is more??
We couldnt understand 800 and odd people have looked at our ad and we only had about 5 mails and half of them where single men rolleyes

When talking to someone about this they said the fact that we have so much in our profile could put people off which i found surprising when so many profile we look at say that they want to see pics and if we see a profile with no write up or pics we tend not to bother.
Does our profile give off the wrong vib? would u be put off by it?

The ones who looked at your advert. obviously weren't interested. You've been specific about age - maybe that's put people off. Maybe the age difference between you two has put people off. You can't hope to appeal to everyone who reads your ad.
I don't like reading long profiles; others won't like short profiles. Your profile reflects how you are - people will either like that or not. If you change it, you're doing it for other people's benefit. Just be yourself, but don't expect that everyone will like that.

I heard that as well. I have been waiting for the money to come my way but all I have seen so far is a washer, pocket fluff and two melted cadburys buttons.

There's nothing wrong in your profile that I can see Donna, maybe your're just expecting too much too soon?
We can go months without a word then get loads of invites for meets in one go, strange world.
On another note, the chintzy bedside lamp is a bit unnerving, maybe that's your killer lol

You've probably got one of the better profiles Hun. It's clear and full, so anyone reading it knows exactly what you're looking for.
Surely that's the whole point of a profile?

I'll open my mouth to facilitate easy jumping into my throat.......but this is constructive criticism.
Some people may be put off by the spelling & grammar in your profile. It comes across to me as a bit of a jumble.

I think your profile is very informative but the text is a little difficult to read as one sentence goes straight into the next, other than that I think its fine lol

We prefer to read a good amount about someone before replying, that way we know there are mutual interests and there are more tick box's ticked metaphorically speaking.
Better to have a one or two very good replies than a whole postbag full of replies your not interested in.

hmm I could have sworn i'd replied to this thread already! Oh well here goes again....
We prefer to read a profile and get to learn a bit about who were potentially going to reply to, it means that there are more mutual things / box's ticked metaphorically speaking.
Also, isn't it better to receive one or two really good replies than a whole postbag full of replies that aren't what your looking for???

Same as others said, really. Your intro is a bit all over the place as people before have said, but actually I think that is very fitting for your name! Your clearly a young bubbly kinda girl and many people will be attracted to that.
On a small constructive criticism note, twice you have said "I will not sleep..." which comes across as a little hoighty toity, maybe change the phrasing to sound less harsh.
Other than that, it's just waiting for a likeminded couple to come along and match yours, be patient it does happen, and I agree with Freckledbird, be yourself.
