To Shave or Not To Shave

I am a normal, healthy, middle aged bloke who is currently 'between partners'. Many of the pho ads from ladies stipulate 'clean shaven' and I guess they don't necessarily mean facial hair.
I have been considering shaving for a while now but before I make the decision I thought I would check out thoughts on here.
Opinions from ladies and men would be useful. Should I do it, any tips, how often, and do I just shave my balls or should the lot come off ? confused: redface
