hi just a quick one, most people I have been speaking to/made friends with on here seem to be at least 30 +, being a young whipper snapper myself how young do you think too young is? Considering my age I have had quite alot of sexual expeirence and would recommend University to anyone! All kinds goes on!
Many people say they dont want someone young to teach because of their age, if I got into this at 40 does that mean I would be any better?

dont worry about ya age. there are a lot of people on this site ranging from the ages of 18 - x. and i personally thing the age for swinging has got lower... when i first joined this site i was most proplaly the youngest (well except for little Gem) . but now there are a lot of people of my age band.
if you start thinking ya age is against ya, you will struggle.. a lot of people might state "between 28-29 only". but if you chat to them and they something clicks then this normaly goes out of the window!

To be honest I dont think it's anything to do with 'teaching' - the 'age' issue is more of a personal preference thing - its different for everyone, and I think most people here on SH go for the 'person' not the 'number'. Its maturity of attitude and understanding that counts - if you have that, the fact that you're 23 shouldnt be a massive issue IMO . x

So long as your over 18 your not to young 
Many people will want someone a little more mature, personally i am not into young guys, nothing to do with experience its all about maturity and having something in common, i do not find i can relate to someone, say under 25, the age gaps to big, interests are different and theres nothing in common, now i know some may be thinking.....so long as you both want sex who cares if you get on?.....

Its not an 'age' thing - its a 'compatibility' thing

I agree with jonathon here. when i joined the scene three years aged 20 there was no one my age.
Now aged 24 there a few people in the 22-27 age group that i have met on here. I think there are a few reasons for this.
Mayby the swinging scene has become more accesible to young people in terms of the introduction of the internet and sites such as SH.
I also belive that younger people are getting sexually active at a younger age and knowing what they want sexually and being willing to experiment.
there are other reasons but i cant think this morning so i mite add later.

We're 21 and have met quite a few lovely people on SH, and have no complaints! Some people will obviously have a few gripes about age at times because it would be strange for some people - swinging with people possibly even younger than their own sons or daughters!
But for the most there's no worries - if you have the right attitude and maturity and you are over the age of 18 you qualify!

Well unless you became sexually active below the age of 13 or 14 I don't think I would necessarily agree with that, but then again I and a lot of others used to say the same when we were in our 20's.............

Ya know, surprisingly i completely disagree! I think people at a slightly older age (mid-30s etc.) are more sexually experimental and active. The vast majority of people under 25 (not including the people on this site who are the exception!) are still quite immature about their sexuality and place too much emphasis on what society thinks while, although not personally in a position to know (!), i assume that more mature people know what they want to try and are more liberal in going about actually trying it!
