we went there last year and noted the potential of the place, with a little tweaking and many more folk it could be one of the best of its kind...soo...
whats it like 6 months or so on? how many folk does it now get on average? not the fetish nights, but the male female swingers nights..
what nights are they held and from what time..
how clean is the club...had some reservations about this last time wondered if the management had acted..ie clean the club between openings..
what are the bar prices now..ie a bottle of magners costs??
a coke costs ???
entry fee?
we really hope this place does well and want the replies to be bang on...like we said the potential is tremendous with a little tweaking..
so can we have some honest opinions please , we wont go again till we feel the place is on course to what we are looking for, we will give it another chance but only the one..so if its not right yet say so and we are happy to wait

I've wanted to go for ages, still haven't got round to it confused

It looks like one brilliant venue :happy:
Although not sure I would now, and I'm very interested in the full real story as to why there were journalists invited there :shock:
Were they allowed full access to the whole place for starters - cos I certainly wouldn't want to go if I thought there were other people other than people genuinely interested in swinging for themsleves, and would be really peed off if I'd of travelled hundreds of miles only to be told there were journos there (or was there prior notice of this?).
So if anyone has an explanation, then I'd be grateful for it biggrin

we not been since january sat night it was dead been about 7 times in total had sum good nights there. spanked & theme nights allways busy as for drinks magners beer £3 - 3-50 abottle think. they need the numbers going week in week out before they got licencensed the best clubs over here let you bring your own. ( fun 4 two & showboat )in the netherlands charge one off fee which is all in beer wine spirits & excellent food & facilities god you even get gels & deodrent free in them places. anyway as you were saying place has lots of potential but they getting ahead of themselfs reading last two reviews. oh have a great time at bolton party we cant make this one so your airbed is safe wink

I only did cos of the reviews - rather shocked I was :shock: Which is why I wanna hear the full update on this.
I do hope for the owners tho, that this doesn't ruin the place for them, cos it does look like a cracking venue that seemed to have something for everyone.
But until I know that there won't be journalists there at all, or at least a warning given in advance - I won't be taking the risk of a wasted journey confused

It's not just because it was 'journalists'. I would be just as uncomfortable in front of anyone other than swingers or people personally interested in the lifestyle :?

Sounds like I'm being really down on this place - and it's not how I want to come across. It does seem like a brill venue, I would absolutely love something like this to work and would love to go at some point.
But think this journalist clanger needs clearing up or explaining or guarantees it won't happen again or something, cos I'm sure I wouldn't be the only person a bit jittery about it - especially as I can't find the full reasoning for it.

Unfortunately the journalist clanger is symptomatic of how the place is run. Constant changes of nights, high bar prices rather than BYOB, price increases and the closure of the upstairs bar have meant that the steadily increasing numbers during the autumn have turned to a big decline.
We haven't been since January, although we'd been quite a few times up till then and thought that the place was on the up. They only have 2 swingers nights a month now compared to 7 when they started. I think that tells the story.
It's a shame because it could have been a great club but until the management gets a real sense of direction it's unlikely to improve.

we expected this from the time we spent there , the potential was fantastic but very simple issues needed addressing, issues that should not need bringing to the attention of the owners..
it really could be one hell of a club.. :cry:
