Do you think you can be too happy?
I had a lovely day today. In fact, I felt quite positive and at peace with the world. Then it all went a bit wrong.
It got me thinking: is there a finite amount of happiness to be had? So, if things are going well in one area of your life, do things perhaps balance out by being less good in another area?
dunno Or maybe it's just me and I'm spectacularly bad at stuff lol
Yin and yang like, dont think I buy into that kind of thing. Have to say I am pretty much just me regardless. I seem to feel pretty much the same way each day unless of course there is some kind of mega positive or negative upheaval.
Maybe I'm just getting too cynical in my dotage!
I just can't seem to balance everything in a decent state of happy equilibrium. I'm a bit crap like that!
with everything.
think about it first.
exercise caution.
and after weighing it all up you'll be where you want to.
Caution?!
Hmmmm... sometimes being cautious is hard wink

People always tend to question or doubt the fact that they are happy as if that is an unnatural state to be in. "do I really deserve this? Surely something bad will happen next.."..
But I think there is also a difference between always feeling "happy" and always feeling "content"-an more all encompassing state to be in..
does this make sense? I've had a couple of wines..drinkies
Total sense.
I'd love to be content.

planning and running your own life and making it peaceful and positive is simple, it only becomes complicated and goes pete tong when other people are involved :dunno:

I'd love to be content.

In my experience, contentment is bad for the waistline!
