It's not only Tourettes that leads to this 'type' of behaviour either. Due to the fact I have Aspergers I squeak and do other little odd things!
It's almost invisible to the average person these days, but when you're in a slient lift and you do a brief impression of a guinea pig it can be a little embarassing!

Can't bear them silences you see. I'm not one that's comfortable with silences when with people I don't know very well.

I need to ask this.... does anyone think that this thread has been influenced in any way by Pete in Big Brother? The reason I ask is because Tourettes now seems to be the discussion of choice and it all seems to be down to him. That's not in any way a critisism....
