I really wish people would check the facts of these email trivia things that they get. They're invariably either complete twaddle, or have some of the facts missing. For example, whilst Beethoven's mother did in fact give birth to eight children during her life, Beethoven was in fact her third child.
Hitler was not vegetarian for moral reasons, but because later in his life he suffered from gastric problems.

I never knew Stalin or Hitler composed music, they cant have been as good as Beethoven surely. Have they done anything I might have heard of??

No, but Hitler was an accomplished artist.
My point was that it's pointless contemplating "What ifs" like this because we could equally say that had Hitler's mother found it neccessary to abort her pregnancy, history may have been changed for the better. Then again, it might not.
If Hitler had never been born, it might have allowed someone far worse to seize power. Conversely, if Beethoven had never existed, a musician even more talented than Beethoven may have been discovered.
