We have been tofun4two which we rate very highly and to Partners (wed) which we thought was a little seedy. Can anyone direct us to a UK club that is comparable to those on the continent? Preferably in the NW...

I've been to a few clubs in the NW and Partners is the best of the ones I've been to as far as facilities are concerned (although not necessarily better for other features, such as atmosphere). I've never been to a club on the continent, so obviously I can't compare. However, I certainly wouldn't consider Partners to be seedy (though I guess my definition of seedy might be different to your's 
). If you want a very busy, party-like atmosphere try Partners on a Saturday - I was there last night and it was a lot of fun! :P :P :P
I dare say there are clubs that I haven't been to that provide different facilities - does anyone know what The Club (Manchester) is like? Apparently, according to their web site they are building a dungeon, but their web site is a few months out of date, and I was wondering if anyone has been recently to check it out? I'm planning to go once the dungeon is finished!
