I was telling someone the other day about how my daughter uses her hair straighteners to iron the collar of a particular top if she's in a hurry lol Her excuse is that the straighteners are on anyway and she doesn't have to mess about with the ironing board etc.
Anyone got any unusual uses for everyday items?
Clothes pegs! redface
(well I was only experimenting! and it was a long time ago!)

Just lately Shaz has been suffering real bad tooth ache and has to continue until her hospital appointment comes (dentist couldn't sort it)
So, delay spray
A bit sprayed on cotton wool, held on the gum for a few minutes near the ache 100% takes the pain away for a couple of hours biggrin
Have to make sure mouth is washed out well after though as its not ment for swallowing.

Unusual uses:
Bit of bread - for reducing holes in wall when the drill bit was a tad generous
Fish slice -excellent for wallpaper scraping
Pant liner - in the absence of a post-it note - stuck over the dial on the washing machine as an aide memoire that you've temporarily cranked it up to 90 degrees
Insert for hanging basket - 2 sewed together make excellent inside for snowman's head costume
