user name.... time for a change?

... well...LondonPlaything??? I ask you!!
I'm a little fed-up with the name these days...
can't really think why specifically... maybe seems a little frivalous for *where I'm at* these days..I dunno...
also the capitalisation was an accident... but never thought to change it before the *pay before you change* rules came in...and I am cheap after alll redface

.. I wanted it to read as londonplaything, no caps, just a little foible, it appears more aesthetically >sp???< pleasing to me... so to change that, I'd have to pay anyway...
with those things in mind, Im considering a complete name change... though of course, sadly for you lot, I shall still be little-ole-me...bugger!
any suggestions?
shytehawk perhaps...?

Anyway LP I put "plaything" into the online dictionary to see what it would bring up ... here goes:

Well you may remember my name used to be Kiss_Me, but it led to too many "Yes please" and "Where?" lines that I chopped me off. biggrin

I don't know why I fancy a change, I just think that Kiss_Me was a random choice and Kiss means nothing really. Maybe it's like getting a new hairstyle etc?
Somebody suggested Ms_Kinky the other day but I wouldn't want to scare anyone off.

So.. how do you change username? And if you do, can you still access all your emails and stuff - and would the forum thingy know who you were still or would it be like starting all over again?
Gothic-punk is an ok name - it describes who i am without giving too much away - but i am so fickle I would not be averse to having the occasional name-changey thing happening.

goodpoint GP... something I hadnt considered >note deliberate lack of appostrophy there!<
I was lucky enough to become a member when membership was free, and changed names a couple of times then... if i remember correctly, forum posting history is lost...>and there's me just over a thousand posts now!!<
I was planning on the signature space to say *I was londonplaything* etc etc for a while... until settled again.
I think username can be changed through the *my profile* section, where various settings can be changed....

It confuses the hell out of me when people start changing thier username :crazy:
you do kinda get 'known' and are instantly recognisable by name....its fine for folk who are here regularly, or are very familiar with you and know about the change when it actually happens, but to newbies or others who log in 3 days later, without a 'aka' or 'formerly known as' in the sig I wouldnt have a clue lol

but then I still 'recognise' folk as I did as a noob - by name or avatar pic lol
