vague profiles

I've been on here for near on maybe 6/7 yrs,half of that time has been as a single fem, I have always had both pics and text on my profile (just hang fire before you go and look lol). It has always struck me as strange when other single fems say they get inundated with mail as in all that time I may have been lucky enough to get mail maybe once every 3/4 months and even then it was more than likely to be off someone I knew from chat.
(maybe my sparkling sense of humour preceed's me ..who knows)
However since I took off my photo from public view & placed into a pvt album & removed all text to brb I have been ...well lets put it this way every time i log on I have at least 4 mail from randoms. dunno

The ones that are littered with 'hey really liked your profile & your pics are stunning' do make me giggle tho lol

So peeps ...is this the secret, remove all information and as much about yourself as you can?
Certainly got me puzzled thas for sure

You have a friends list, comments and Shrep so maybe it's not about the quantity of the attention you receive but the quality?
I have previously found that less is more. I once had a pic on another site showing a fully clothed rear view of myself and it got more hits than any other profile pic! I don;t think it's anything to do with ME, just human nature ... people are intrigued by a bit of mystery, perhaps?

Perhaps its something to do with people aiming low? If they see a shit/vaugue profile they assume you wont get much mail so they mail you and hope to be the only one or one of a few. We have had the opposite threads on here, pictures too good, too many shreps. Aim low and hope to pick up a bombshell fuckzilla with no pictures lol

Hey whip. Thats so funny because for me iit is exactly the same
When i removed all text and pictures. I had a handful a day stating exact same thing. Somewhere else was worse 79 messages in 24 hours asking to meet """"".
So i think we can conclude that men and the odd couple like mystery and have vivid imaginations and hence less effort more response lol
But of course half these that message have blank profiles. So are they all famous or married ...?... I wonder xxx

Marya i agree but have you seen whips profile pic. Very classy done and not giving anyithing away or rude < i ve also meet this loverly lady
Actually more clunge on show. Does get a good response. But i think the aim low that tweekys mentioned is true. When i took my profile down and changed names. All my shreps ( over 100 ) from people id met at socials went and the response was better even though i was listed as a 7 ft trannie !!!!!
Everyone go anaylise that one lol x

we recently removed pics and text and haven't had any more mail but did have a guy in chat last night say "hi there looking good" it did make me giggle

We really struggle with how best to have our profile text. It definitely puts us off other people's profiles if we can't read a bit about what they are like, but sometimes it does narrow your field to only meeting English graduates... One of the things I've learned being a writer for hire is that some people are really unconfident putting anything down on paper.
On ours, we really want to be clear about how we do things to avoid wasting anyone's times, but at the same time we don't want a moan list of all the things we don't want to do.
We also want to give an idea of what we do like, but because we're pretty flexible and don't have a specific tick-list we try to be as vague as possible.
Either way we always seem to end up with too much text. As you suggest, maybe we'd get more messages if we took it all off, but would we not then end up fielding messages from people with whom we probably wouldn't have a fun and sexy time?
I see I haven't managed to really make a point here... just getting some thoughts down xx
