If your shagging partner got you a card or gift would you be happy or freak out thinking it was too much from just a shagging partner?
Personally if someone was my 'shagging partner' I would need to think of them as a friend as well therefore I wouldn't see any need to freakout, but it might be worth finding out how serious their affections were.

Was maybe just thinking of a funny/dirty valentines card!?
Thik that should be ok??
Course it would be lovely! I think that sends the right message, for you. Personally, I don't do Valentines, as a rule. However, if I ever were to send one, I would make it myself and I would mean every word.
Why would anyone freak out at getting a valentine from a shagging partner? Surely most people would be delighted to receive a valentine from such a dear and trusted friend.
Or have I misunderstood the term shagging partner?

Ice, You would be surprised. Us girls take on shagging partners because we like them and the shagging bit comes next, but they're kinda skittish, worse than wild horses. Any form of affect they may perceive and they're like :eeek: :eeek: :eeek: :eeek: bolt :bolt: :bolt:
I think most normal people would be pleased to receive a Val card of there sex partner; it’s only a card not a marage contact

James, that's the most sensible thing you've mis-spelled all day!
Bwahahahah. Meanie. Harsh, but true.

Us boys do that too.

What, all of them? sad
A shagging partner can be a far more intimate relationship than most friendships. Vix & I dearly love a few of our swinging partners; it's just not the same depth of love we have for each other, but a manner of love nonetheless. So why not express it?! If they take your gesture the wrong way - as an exclusive commitment - then at least you'll know that their grasp of "swinging" conflicts with your own. As long as you maintain open and honest communication, and both parties know where they stand with respect to your swinging relationship, I can't see how such a lovely gesture could be misconstrued...

P.S. ...then again, perhaps I've got my rose-tinted glasses on and a heart filled with warm fuzzies since the events of this past weekend!

Please, please, please can we send James to go and live with Freckledbird for just a week!!
As for the val card thing. I hadn't really thought of it - but then I don't really have any single shag partners, and I can't really see my married (to each other) shag partners getting together to send me a val card!! I guess I'd be surprised if I got one - and yeah - I'd be chuffed!! biggrin
I think it all depends on what the message of the card is too. If it's a sexy one carrying a sexy message, or a heartfelt friends type one then yes that would be lovely, but if it is purely a shagging partner type of relationship then an 'I Love You' card could be a little too full on if the feeling isn't mutual. Mind you, I am happy to recieve cards and presents any time! lol

I'm beginning to sense the need for a new Valentines subcategory for Hallmark! lol

That's a good point Reese, although I would be a bit wary of picking out a 'Happy Valentines Day Shag Buddy' card!

'Happy Valentines Day Shag Buddy'

Nah - call 'em 'Body Buddy' cards - is far more warm & fuzzy (my first threesome partner used to call us that back when I was 16, so I can vouch for its sentimental value).
