can someone please update me on this term and what it implies, i have seen it within a few adds but not wanting to enter blind prefer to know what I'm getting into before hand.

At one time I thought and took Vanilla to mean outside of the 'normal' with sex. This could mean anything considered a little avante garde or risque. I think now though that the term is used, as stated by others, in the broader sense of people not involved in swinging in some fashion. The thing is I have heard it used by people who are into bdsm and dont swing to refer to those not into bdsm.
I guess it just means those not involved with the particular scene that you are involved with. A term for outsiders
