Hi room, Is there such a thing as a video or DVD comercially available to buy. We often sit in when the kids have gone to bed with a bottle of wine and watch a movie. We saw one on Channel 4 (where else) that got us talking about the 'alternative lifestyle' and want to know more as we THINK we are both game, easy to say when you havent lept. We read about having a strong relationship, which we have, but how strong is strong. So many questions eh. enough said. Anyone know of videos or DVD's, titles and where to get them. Swinging is a poor subject for mainstream film or telly. Whenever it has been tackled, the focus has always been on the negative aspects. A recent I.T.V. series had relationships dying all over the place as a result of a party. But the reasons why it's a bad subject are very basic. To create drama you have to have conflict. And when all parties are happy within a swinging existance, there is no conflict and by definition, no story. Hxx

We are thinking of buying a limo as a new business so perhaps we can use that as backdrop for another film. You can have a munch anywhere... Our Croydon one was spread over a pub, bowling alley, bus, train, hiking through the streets of Croydon holding aloft a stuffed Bald Eagle... Some folks with resources actually book halls... but I wouldn't tell the Vicar exactly who will be attending! You dress as you would for a night on the razz with your chums.... and that's all a munch is, really - a night on the razz with open minded folks. Hxx
There was a television film made a few years ago starring of all people Martin Clunes of men behaving badly fame. It was about a couple who decided to start swinging. It was well made and acted and I think portrayed swingers as they/we really are. I have a copy of it on VHS and if anyone would like a copy all they have to do is send me a blank tape and i will copy it for them P&P is about 70 p I think.

There was a documentary on Syk television some time ago about actual swingers dressed up as Cats and dogs of all things having a dinner party and talking about the lifestyle and experiences. We did tape it - but not sure if it really portrays swinging in the correct light really so don't know if it will do you any good....... Did anyone else see it and if so, what did you think of it? I may need to watch it again to remind myself of what it contained - memory like a sieve! (early onset Alzheimers!) Fred

sorry if I hijacked your thread Beencee; didn't mean to. I'm afraid I have a serious problem in not being able to be serious for more than ten seconds at a stretch. A definite weakness; maybe I ought to take my affliction elsewhere.
