I've always wanted to visit Chameleons (or similar club) , if only to see what it was like, and hopefully to become a regular.
However, I'm weary of attending as a single guy. I can imagine the majority of people to be in groups and then a load of single males hanging around trying to get involved with the couples..... Sounds quite seedy to me.
'I' want a much more relaxed experience. I'm happy just to go, have a drink, have a chat and get to know some people. I've met women/couples away from clubs, but have usually become friends first.
I'm weary that by attending the club, I will just be seen as another 'desperate, single guy', and feel really uncomfortable. I'm rather shy anyway, so I reckon it might prove too much for me.
I'm a very quiet, relaxed guy, but very sensual and tactile. I love kissing, cuddling and touching, and especially all aspects of foreplay - giving LOTS of oral is my absolute favourite activity. Sex (as in intercourse) is fine, but only after many hours of other fun first.
I'm keen to see what a club is like, but still not sure about it....
Could anyone offer some advice? (If only to say 'stay away' if that's what you think.) What can a single guy expect? How are they generally viewed? (I appreciate that 'some' couples might want a single guy to get involved, but I'm guessing this is in the minority).
I might put an ad up on the site, but am again weary that there are always hundreds of guys placing similar adverts. I'm just keen to make some new friends, and have some sensual, tactile fun together.

:welcome: to the forums. I can't really offer any advice as i've never been to a club before. Maybe you should get yourself to a few local socials and get to know a few people first before going or keep a look out for a social being held in a club as im sure it will be alot more relaxed.
Hopefully someone more helpful will be along shortly.

I've already starting chatting to a few people on here, but it's clear that most men that have replied to ads etc are (in the words of the women I've spoken to) 'looking for fresh meat'.
OK, the ultimate aim of most people on here, is to have mutual and consensual fun. Me too. But surely I'm different to all those other men. 'Getting my leg over' is not the be-all and end-all. I want to make friends, have a laugh etc.. If all goes well, we might agree to take things further and have some saucy fun together. And even then, there's so much more fun that can be had that just purely intercourse....

If you do go, and i know this is easier said than done, you best off for your first time finding someone to go with, couples can take single guys in as a guest for their first time at chameleons, that way you wont have to pay membership just entry price because as a single man its a lot of money to folk out first time if you don't like it and dont go again.

the clubs we use (cupids and adam/eves)have very friendly staff,nice bar areas to socialise without any pressure, for singles or us this means we have the choice to just relax at the bar, have a sauna or jaccuzi,or even just watch a film.

Hi I arange a social night at chams for SH members, all are welcome. It's a very good way to see what the club is like and meet lots of SH peeps. No membership is needed that night as long as you have your name on the list. You can do as little or as much as you like and fees are reduced for SH members on that night. Go have a look at my thread on the lets meet up forum and stick ya name down if u fancy it. next one is next thursday july 24th and so far 140 sh members have their name down. All welcome.
