look it was an easy mistake to make......what made it worse, was the fact that I was late getting ready and me and mrs davej exchanged a few pleasantries about the fact that if she hadn't made me go play Bob the Fuckin builder on a job that had to be finished before we left, then I would have been ready in time.......jumped in the motor and screamed to the location to find............................
...............no one!
.on a more serious note folks just be carefull not to mention the location in this thread....

We are definately outa the game now, but we have been around long enough to know that tweed isn't the clothing of choice amongst the community, nor do people turn up for munches with their grandparents and children and order a steak meal with a side serving of onion rings and an orange slush puppy.

Yep although that wasn't my fault. Mrs davej decided to clear out the car when we got to Birmingham and binned the AA routefinder the name of the hotel we were staying at and every other bit of information regarding the munch that I had stapled together in order that I didn't forget it. All I knew was the name of the district that we were staying in, fortunately it was only 4 hotels that I called into to ask if we were booked in with them before we hit the mark.

You had the advantage over me there. As I arrived without my directions or the name of the hotel or the name the room was booked in :shock: (Hint for future room sharers - it is highly unlikely they will have booked the room in the name of Mr L Commando)
I was lucky as when I arrived there was a couple with the top down on their car (even though it was raining) I just followed them for a bit and was lucky enough to find the right place.
