This morning I opened our mail box to find mail fromxxxxxxxxxxxx with the We like your profile lot at ours, we did. No photo No ad No information a complete waste of time. Is this what we are paying for empty profiles, I don't think we will bother to renew our membership. wheelnuts Mod edit: and you didn't read the rules - no naming and shaming! Other people don't HAVE to fill in their profiles and you DON'T have to reply to them. And you DON'T have to come in here with your first post and moan.
No, you're paying for a membership to a site which provides the use of forums and profiles. You are NOT paying for other people. As such I'll fill my profile how I feel and if people don't like that they dont' have to.
You have just recieved a wink. Its not the end of the world so don't throw Teddy out of the pram just because there was no profile. It happens live with it.
it annoys me to but you have to get on with it i just simply dont reply to these id like to know more messages purely for the fact if they cant be bothered to waste their time neither can i
When we get winks from people where their profile is blank and it asks us to take a look at theirs and tell me what you think ,I usually reply by saying "thanks for your email but I think you profiles crap" what a blank profile is crap but like someone else says its up to them if they want to fill it in, but on the other hand it is anoying when you recieve the wink asking you to take the time to look and then there is nothing there xxx

That something i didn't know having joined straight off as a full member and before the wink system was introduced. A good point and i think needs modifying aswell

have to agree with that one i think that is a very good idea and admin should think about it its every ones choice what the put on their profile and a lot of people are just here for the social side of things so they dont need much on thier profile, i find that if you check the adds out on these bare profiles you mite found out more info when we were free members we could not add text on our profile but would write on our add that that we were free members so if some one was interested let us know and we would find a way to have more contact, i guess if you are interested enough in some one or vice versa you should do the leg work and check out everything before sending a wink or a message
*Disclaimer: I'm not talking about 'old' members who use this site free because they joined before the take-over. It's actually against the site contact rules to ask people to send you their 'coded details' if you are a free member. As I have mentioned before, as a new(ish) member I pay to use this website, so is it fair for non-paying members to try and attempt to break the rules by encouraging people like me to contact them, disguising my phone number etc so they don't have to pay?? This may sound a little harsh as not everyone has the money to subscribe, but it really annoys me at times when you see some 'free' members trying to get one over on SH, and indirectly trying to get one over on me because I pay. I hope this all doesn't sound too whingy - but perhaps a good analogy would be, imagine you fork out for a concert ticket, only to watch loads of people sneaking in for free. Would that be fair?

maybe the site should change the wink then to maybe sumat like" liked your profile I think your hot" As we have been on the site since before take over I didnt realise that non payers couldnt send emails, only winks

You weren't complaining about bad manners, you were complaining about empty profiles and having to pay for them. Now I realise it was a bit daft of someone to send you a wink asking you to look at their profile when it wasn't complete, but it isn't really the end of the world is it. Jas XXX

If you pay for extras, which excludes the free members.. I changed ours.. and we are "free" members (at least i think I did!)

No I think it was a yellow after the first post but likely to be a red after this one. People here are no more going to accept bad manners than you, but they'll try to be understanding of a situation that they thought existed after your inadequate description, which it now seems was based on a prejudicial view of only some of the facts. Incidentally, quite liked your profile - something to identify with there, but not after this load of tripe. Just my opinion you understand. .
