The forum is in my mind lacking the clever simpleness and enjoyment of the Bonediggerism threads enjoyed by many. Im useless at thinking up these type of threads and though i enjoy the heavier debate type ones I really do miss the ones you can just post on with the knowledge that its all fun and lighthearted, meant to bring a smile.
Come on someone step up to the mark

Thing is Losty, I've tried to do several threads like this and a lot of them kind of die on their arse, flailing in the wind like an unloved kite of death, bereft of care and attention, ignored, unloved, unmourned and uncared for, they die a slow lingering death beyond the horizon where people care and enjoy the pointlessness of it all.
The reason is of course, I am a tool.
It is demotivating after a while to see what you think is an utterly brilliant and fulfilling thread, die a slow death because people are more intent on discussing something else.
If the SH Forum is a picnic table, many "fun" threads are the sandwiches that are lovingly made and elegantly presented, and yet left to curl up and wither at the ends while people tuck into the pineapple and Cheese on a stick.
In the end, you risk ending up sounding a bit like the over-enthusiastic and overly happy one at the party who everyone (apart from me it seems) tries to avoid. Either that or posting something that has already been done at least 63 times before and at least 62 examples of that will be funnier...
I too miss Mrs B's madness. I also miss what I regard as the best thread I've seen in here since I rejoined, GnV's "Swinging during the Credit Crunch" thread and threads of their ilk.
Plus, there is always the danger that these threads will get sent to the "Fun and Games" forum of doom, to eek a long, painful lingering existence at the arse end of nowhere.
I too yearn for a return of the fun.
So if you find any, let me know.

I had a very simular converstaion the other day with someone here after they asked me why I don't do my fun rooms in the chat rooms like I used to most evenings, what I find is some people take the roles as the entertainers, they can hold a party and always know people are going to have fun and enjoy their time, no matter what you orgainse, same can be said for the forums, certain people have that way like bone did.
What I find is people always expect them to be the entertainment, and sometimes we just want to sit back and let others entertain us, I can't speak for Bone but I found that rarely happens as I have found out.
We cant always rely on a couple of people to be the leaders but have to sometimes take the lead ourselves be the cause of the entertainment.
I guess to be an entertainer you first can not take yourself to seriously, Bone I feel had that quality there are others here that have the same qualities and they are about you just have to understand their humour.
I have done all sorts of threads in the past, I feel I have had my day and have retired from writting much in the cafe I have hung up my pencil, hoping others will enlighten the forums with many new threads.
A lot say I am to serious up here, so I just hang about in the fun threads these days as it is all light hearted nonsense there and it gives me a laugh
So back off there to mingle with the couple of people that hang out down there.
