Hi all,
can anyone reccomend a good webcam?

Buy the best one you can afford m8. and make sure it has a built in mic.

If the webcam is to use in the chat rooms may i just say it does not have to be an expensive one at all just make sure you have the settings right ( and I have a seperate mic and am told i am heard very well)
I am told mine is very clear and I payed a fiver in argos for it

we use a logitech cam...no mic.
Picture is really clear in SH chatroom but not great when used in another certain chat {y**oo}
No idea why

am i allowed to post a lionk to a web cam in here?? the 1 i use cost me 10 pound has a built in mic and has built in lights aswell and it is good quality.

we bought one of ebay....brand new with built inmic for and it`s mint, better than most of the expensive ones, i think the one we got was from someone starting up there own business, but all the same the cam we got even has a light sensor and aload of leds to light ya up wayhay

rich and dee , i have to agree , the web cam quality is much better on my cam in SH than it is elsewhere

i use the eyetoy from my PS2 its all good as a cam, just go online seach for eyetoy as web cam and download the drivers works really well better than most webcams

Thanks a lot for the info, have seen quite a few in chat room recently, agree some are better than others, but think a lot depends on lighting as well, I'll have a look round

I have a digital cam corder that I use. It seems to work great on msn and . I can't seem to get it to work on the sh chat yet though.

I got this 1 from argos... paid for it.... should of been when i bought it.... but now they are
Its very clear and has a built in mic
