Anyone got any suggestions for my sister. The bridesmaids will be 2 and 6.
We can think of the usual but anyone think of anything else thats special and can be kept as a memento for years to come.
Silver or gold jewellery ie bangle or necklace and a bottle of Bollinger each for their 18th birthdays. Difficult to know what to give............ best of luck biggrin

When we got married we gave the bridesmaids teddys, they carried them instead of flowers and didnt let them go through the whole looked soooo cute biggrin
Bless cant wait to see my daughter and son as bridesmaid and ring bearer.
I do like the teddy bear idea and we have seen a place where they make replicas of the bridesmaid dresses for the teddies as well.
Jewellery is another traditional gift but with them being so young, what size do you buy??
Decisions, decisions rolleyes
The Teddies thing is a great idea. A dated bottle of champoo or decent wine for when they are 18 is another good one.
I have put aside a decent bottle of red and white wine from 2002 for my daughters 18th.
You could also get hold of a copy of the newspapers from their birthdays - search google for a company called remember when - they post them out and for papers of 2 and 6 years ago, they will not be expensive.
For my brothers 40th, I got him the Times from 1962, and a bottle of port which was bottled on the year he turned 18. Believe me, it's a lot cheaper to get them in now than try and buy a 40 or even 22 year old Port!
Alternatively, you could get them vouchers to amusement parks cinemas or that kind of stuff. Red letter days do excellent "experience" vouchers - or contact a local photographers and see if they sell vouchers for a portraiture sitting - their parents will love you for it.
I guess it depends on how much you are looking to spend!
Hope the wedding goes ok
