This was that worst weeks reporting ever, my spreadsheet this week is covered with a blight of little green cells meaning, "using last weeks weight as nothing heard".
Winner of the accolade for best dieter this week goes to ............................
Steve-teesside :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
and the reason is that he is the ONLY person who has reported EVERY week, combined with being the only person NEVER to have had a week when weight went on. Well done!
14 respondents either by pm or web posting last week, can we all make a special effort to get those numbers up again?
NEW WEIGHTS IN MONDAY OR TUESDAY for WEEK 9.

11St 8Lbs this week. confused
Sorry I haven't thought up a decent excuse (lie) but I've got to go out smile
See you later lol
Blimey well done Steve Teeside!!!! :bounce:
Struggling away here and Saturdays alcolhol intake didn't really help matters ........... however, the worry about outfit, travel, babysitters, getting there etc did make sure it was a 2lb loss this week :bounce: Had the alcohol not been involved, it would probably have been about 10lb loss :lol2: ...... kind of confused ..... ok exaggerated, a 2.5 loss rolleyes
Thanks for keeping us all told off and on track Harvey Musketeer  passionkiss Personally I am finding it a real help to keep at least half on track - I keep thinking of you tutting everytime I go in me fridge :undecided: :uhoh:
I lost 1lb, but it's a start again after weeks of losing nothing
Keeping steadly downwards with a 2lb loss this week... only 2lbs from my target, but I'm not happy with the size of my belly, so I'll revise that downwards a bit when I get there.

Yes, I'm only about 4 or 5 lbs off my target, should be OK in the four or five weeks to go, but I already know I won't be stopping then. I think maybe we should have an inner circle of those who'd like to continue, and do it by pm or on the site, as is generally agreed at the time.
Obviously I'm lighter and smaller, the current trousers are all satisfyingly loose, but the next size down in the wardrobe are just about wearable but very tight and a bulge over the top of the waistband, plus there's no sign yet of a waistline.
I've done really really badly as I would have hoped to have lost at least a stone by now but alas have only lost a few pounds evil
My problem is that I've been emotionally exhausted over the last 6 months and I just don't have the right kind of motivation, which is turn has led me to not exercise and eat poorly (not badly just poorly) and then the lack of weight loss has made me feel worse and so on sad :(
Jumping on our scales (had been using the gym ones) I've lost a total of 5 lbs I think overall, nothing in the last few weeks though :( :(
Will try harder

Just squeezing in before I get my lunch.............
At 11 st 10 lb, which is quite pleasing, but confusing. I was at this stage last Thursday but have fluctuated since then, despite having been careful & having done 3 cycle rides confused .
BUGGERED!
Well not really, but scuppered anyway. I weigh myself at the same time every morning and record it for this web site on Mondays. Yesterday I doubled the length of my walk, had lentil soup for dinner and this morning I'm 2 lbs heavier!!!
How can this be? Complaining about it over breakfast herself said that she was "upset about my weight so I adjusted the scale"; well that's one way of doing it!
However it didn't matter much to me if the scales were right or wrong, (I knew I was a fat bastard anyway), it was only the amount they had gone down by. So now I don't know whether to try and readjust the scales back to where I "think" they should read, or show an unlikely and dispiriting weight gain.
What to do, what to do?
I think it's important to remember that this isn't about putting nice numbers on graphs, it's about getting healthy.
I suggest you set your scales to be as accurate as you can make them, because this will be useful in calculating your Body Mass Index , which should tell you if you are overweight or not.
If this makes your graph wobbly, so what? It's not about a graph, it's about getting to your target weight and being healthier.

Well my BMI thingy was only just over the top when I started, so for sure it's in range now, and although you're spot on about the reasons for doing it, varity and targets are important quotients in achieving it. I think I'll reset the scales after the weekend till they read I've lost 1 lb over the seven days. That way it will be modest, probably truthful, and will keep me on track.
The scales have a little adjustment wheel at the back to re-set to zero but whatever one does it seems to settle, so it would have been best if she hadn't played with it.
