We received a reply to our ad over the weekend saying "hope you like our pics etc ad no *****". Well, we thought it was a bit rude to send such a short email, but we had a look at their ad and thought they looked really nice. Yesterday, we constructed a really nice email back saying we would like to get together and included our telephone number. This morning, I just checked our email account, where I found another email from the same address, replying to our ad saying "hope you take a look at our profile ad no ****" Are they rude or just thick?
Maybe they had sent the second email before they received your reply? dunno
It's not uncommon for email delivery to take a while, especially with and accounts confused

I know what yr saying there Redbird, we/Ive had the same too.
Quite often i get just "Love yr ad, check out our ad ######" ?? I mean, please, a bit more effort would be nice!!
Or else we get the same guy, cutting and pasting his details to us, time and time again, we send the thanks but no thanks message, and he keeps on replying with the same 'cut and paste' message mad Lazy tosser!! He obviously doesnt even know which ad hes replied to if hes doing it over and over again! Hes obviously just randomly selecting adverts and not genuinely interested in what we have to offer each other. Wouldnt mind, but we dont even advertise for single guys too pmsl
Ce la vie!
Redhot -so why did they reply to our ad twice?
Genherts - I agree a little more thought and effort in the email always sets the right tone. Also, we specifically ask for photos, so then we have to go looking for their ad to see photos of them. I think it is rude.
i have had things like that before.
i tend to think that they are doing a mass add reply, and so forget who they have already replied to and include you again in the next batch.
Many well intentioned ads can appear quite bland and inoffensive and consequently do not convey a great deal of information. Also, advertiser peeps do not want to appear too demanding or exclusive so they are careful how they say things. So many responders create a general purpose reply. There are also advertiser peeps who do not want yackers, who willingly gab on about things, they think that yackers are indiscreet and a potential risk.

So don't arrange anything with them if you think they are rude confused
You think they are rude, they didn't answer your ad in the fashion you would prefer, so why not just delete it?
Can't see a problem here . . . dunno

Red hot - ever heard the saying "benefit of the doubt"?
they must be blind , daft or both !!!! biggrin . bit rude too , we scrapped our add cos of things like that , we only do our "playing " in clubs now .
Sounds to me that they,re just sending out the same message over and over ...a bit like a flyer, confused we,ve been getting the same pm from a guy who lives in the south and we sent a nice pm to him saying that it was,nt easy to meet him because of the distance and he can,t travel to us but hoped him good luck in his search...but he,s pm,d us several times more with exactly the same message mad so i think he just sends pm,s willy nilly and hopes his lucks in but it,s very frustrating :x
same here with us even with f2f meet she got a pic of a man in suuys asking would this be alright lol i used to email back telling them where to go after being polite the first TEN times now just laugh at them, even our link for bi fems gets plauged by males
