In this weather your gorgeous little strappy things aren't going to see the light of day.
Lets hear it for wellies, snow boots, hiking boots. etc etc etc.

Mine have been a godsend the last few days. I'll have to take a pic and show you - they're fab! Only bought them for camping as we have a habit of going during tornados (I kid you not) :shock: lol

but they've really come in handy the last few days.

I took mine to work to go to a neighbouring site. Our lot don't deice the carparks so better to walk. I left them in the car for an hour. Getting them on was almost impossible. They were rock hard and I had thick socks on too. I had to stamp about to get my feet in properly. biggrin

My 10 year old has claimed mine (he grew out of his) - more worrying is they actually fit him redface

I have my trusty ankle boots - with the jeans tucked into the socks

I nearly bought a pair today actually but they looked as if they had a crappy grip on them. My riding boots used to be good for bad weather - wish I still had them.

I have a pair of snow boots from sports direct- they've seen lots & lots of snow, and are still warm, dry & cosy. I also have a pair of hiking boots bought new for the grand sum of £1 years ago- they're both brilliant in the snow.
We popped out yesterday & the amount of people putting fashion before function was ridiculous. And the amount of people wearing boots made of slipper material...they may as well be wearing sponges!

I've got some knee high skiing socks, that are so thick and warm and protect you from the chafing, that said I've only worn mine while making a snowman and on tuesday when it snowed a lot.
