I think it probably did 777 to be fair. It all comes down to what spin is put on what when. At the moment it seems to be knife crime. OK so it seems that knife crime is at the forefront peoples minds. Will it be in 2 or 3 years time?
I've had a cursory look to find some comparison figures for you but ot really is a google nightmare. especially as the way of recording crime has and is altered so often.

The provisional 2006 under-18 conception rate for England of 40.4 per 1000 girls aged 15-17 represents an overall decline of 13.3% since 1998 – the baseline year for the Teenage Pregnancy Strategy. The under-18 conception rate is now at its lowest level for over 20 years.
