Lots of stuff

I think it probably did 777 to be fair. It all comes down to what spin is put on what when. At the moment it seems to be knife crime. OK so it seems that knife crime is at the forefront peoples minds. Will it be in 2 or 3 years time?
I've had a cursory look to find some comparison figures for you but ot really is a google nightmare. especially as the way of recording crime has and is altered so often.
The divorce thing I dont get 777 lol Divorce ain't a crime is it? The teenage pregnancy rates? i'd love to see the stats for 20 years ago compared to today I really would

No of course it is not a crime losty, just an example of maybe why society has gone wrong, with so many divorces. A lot of single parents do a grand job, but there are a lot of single parents that do not. I was just pointing out that the very fabric of family unity ie marriage, is broken down, more now than 20 years ago.
Finding your stats must have been a nightmare, for like you I did look but was difficult to pin anything down.
I really hope this thread stays on course, as I really want to escape the usual nastiness that creaps in. Make your points and be firm with them if you want but... dont be nasty to each other.....its nearly Christmas ya know.
Just been debating this thread with the wonderful mrs777 , who has just pointed out that I may well be looking through rose tinted glasses.
I was an avid Chelsea supporter in the early 70's and the 80's, where football violence was a weekly occurance. I saw some horredous things as no doubt most of you did on the news.
So maybe there was violence with knives and other objects at that time, the same as now?
You see I am open to other opinions on occasion. redface
I guess looking at the stats it does look a bit incomprehensible.
The gist is that in the last ten years there are less conceptions in women under the age of 18 and a larger percentage of those conceptions are result is that there is. as a percentage, less teenage pregnancies now than 10 years ago. And less pregnancies resulting in another child also.
Maybe this could be a result of education I wouldn't like to hazard a guess myself.
