What am i doing wrong people?

Hello all
i've just joined and set up my profile and sent a few nice messages to the ladies on here...
not got back any replies...um
can the ladies or gents give me some good advice so i can get up to speed with everyone here... smile

i sometimes post a joke with my message...just to break the ice...a good idea? (heard the one about the 3 turtles?)
is it my profile?, my silly pic...:) ?

Some people have been on here for years and never met anyone and some have just joined and have met loads.
And you're saying you've just joined when your profile states (member since December 2004) ??
Must be a glitch there somewhere, send support ticket to admin about it.
Strikes me as you are In the "Ive just joined can i have a shag category" wink

Get known in the chat and the forums ,use your humour to good stead and always remember and be polite.
And maybe one day you'll be fighting them off with big sticks rolleyes

yes...i joined in 2004 but just had a look...now i am settled and thought i'd give this a serious go.
do i sound desperate?...lol
i am always polite and will use my humour to good effect...

I might be wrong here but ....
once upon a time, you joined SH ads and chatroom seperately to the Forum - that could explain why some people - myself included - have different dates on their Account profile to their Forum profile ... ya know?
As for answering to your messages or generally getting success from the site ... there's loads of info on here to help you out, spend more time getting to know people rather than jumping in with the sex bit straight away, try to get to a social or munch near you and don't give up!
If something's not working - try summat else.

Be patient and persistent with your search and PM's. Make sure you read peoples profile carefully before sending a PM. Look for something you may have in common. Suggest chatting on MSN or in the chatrooms first or a bit of e mail tennis before even trying to arrange a meet. Have some face and body pics (not cock) you can send with your first PM. Listen to the advise people give you on here, especially the women as they've had hundreds of PM's and know what they like to read and receive. I think humour is a very good tool to show you're a fun guy but I'm not sure about a joke in the first PM.....??? Let the forum decide :-)

The profile's ok, nice pics etc but the one thing you have against you is all the other single guys who are after single females. You outnumber them by at least 10-1 ( could even be more! ) add to that the couples and other bi fems who are looking for the same as you and you're at the back of a very long queue!
You just have to make sure your profile is the one that gets their attention over the others. Some people have been here for a long time and not had many if any meets.
I'd suggest joining in the fun in the Cafe and chatrooms, get yourself known, make new friends, get along to a few munches and socials and most importantly, relax and have fun!

I think it is purely a numbers thing mate dont take it to heart.
There are about 150 single guys to every cpl on here and about 3000 to every single female.
Dont worry its just the law of averages, like others have said, get on the chatrooms use your sense of humour and get to know ppl, then all being well u might get some of this sex people keep telling us about!! lol
