I'm listening to the almost deafening sound of the new fan on my PC's CPU - still, I was lucky to find one, the PC is obsolete!
Oh bugger, I've just dropped a chunk of chocolate off my coconut and dark choc Magnum - must grovel on the dark carpet before I stand on it...

Oooh will have to listen out for the U2/Greenday one, interesting combination.

From the MTV site:
U2 and Green Day are set to record a single to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
They’ll record a cover of a ‘70s punk tune called ‘The Saints Are Coming’, originally sung by a Brit group called The Skids.
The money will go to the ‘Music Rising Charity’ which was set up by U2 strummer The Edge last year in the wake of the disaster to fund the replacement of lost and destroyed musical instruments.

after listening to 3 hours worth of pop shite this evening, I've since found out it is indeed not on single release til 6th November  , but has been getting loads of air play on Radio 1 (at full volume in my car :gigglesmile I love it :karaoke: - reckon they could have put together something better, and original, given that its a collaboration track between two of the best bands going confused
I think the Muse track sounds alot like U2 actually dunno anyone else think so? / not so?
Currently sat here designing some new spangly video effects, listening to some rather funky Drum & Bass on Fabio & Grooveriders one Radio1 pod cast and bouncing round the room like a mad thing

Planet Rock boils my piss sometimes. Well, most of the time, actually. I gave up listening, as I got sick of tracks being cut off by robo-jock two thirds of the way through the track, and halfway through a stonking solo.
Currently listening to Charming Snakes by Andy Summers at mega volumes - ah the benefits of living in a detatched.
Tonight I have played 3 cds all of which imo are contenders for album of the year.
Bob Dylan - Modern Times
Snow Patrol - Eyes Open
Bruce Springsteen - The Seeger Sessions
