BUT..... what got you here in the first place?
I enjoy sex and was not getting enough! I had browsed on other sites but they were one dimensional and not interesting and luck and google brought me to SH - I was looking for a particular type of sex.....I'm in a relationship , looking to cheat, and wanted to find a woman who could accept that on a no strings basis for a shared enjoyment of some good sex.... but recognising that fun, laughs and chats are also important.... a sort of friendly sex where both persons had a great time but knew it was not the beginning of a romance...the enjoyment of sex is very equal opportuinities...both wo/men enjoy it to the same level... however there are women who have partners who don't like sex and like me are looking for more...there are single women who do not want a relationship for various good reasons at this moment but want sex...some of those single women find open but attached mature guys have something extra to offer ..they are confident.. not looking for emotional involvement.. but then I started having chats with some interesting women who don't want sex and we share some good platonic chats...thats a real bonus... I really like the opportunities to tell it like it is....

What brought me here?
well I admit to being bored at home and at 52 but fit and not unintelligent I was looking for some excitement and have aways been interested in swinging, my wife and I almost got into it some years ago but she backed out, so we have lived happily but monogamously since. Now I am home alone as she commutes to London daily, I was looking for some thing to fill my day and keep my mind active. I find the people on this site are outgoing and accepting so it is also a good chat room site. The ads make for interesting reading and the cafe has some good topics to post in.
I could spend the day on line looking up my family history or other such uplifting things but hell this is more exciting!!!!!!!

We googled "dogging" because of somebody I can't remember - was it Stan Collymore? - my partner stopped contributing but I couldn't let go of it.
I'm much more of a browser than a contributor but I do get a lot of enjoyment out of the site. I just wish I could match the humour and intelligence I see here.

Came to this site to find like-minded singles looking for fun without the relationship. I don't know whether that classes me as a swinger or not, but I'd rather do this than meet girls who are looking for love when I'm not.
Only just started dipping my toes in, but I'm confident that this is the best swinging site out there. Most just seem to be money making sites where you have to doubt how genuine the ads are. I had my doubts about the photo ads section here, but now coming onto the forum I can see that many of you guys also place ads so its just a case of filtering though the fakes.

I dont actually remember how I found this site - maybe followed a link from a contacts-type site. rolleyes

I initially registered on the photo-ads section but gave up with that pretty quickly. Casual one-off stranger meetings via the ads are kinda not for me - It wasnt until I came back in July/August time and registered on the actual forum that I truly discovered SH. biggrin

I'd just ended a 13 year relationship and not looking for another yet- but have sex drive that's through the roof and dont see why I should have to 'go without' because I'm now single evil

That's essentially what brought me here.
- SH meets my needs and I love it here - I much prefer to get to know someone a little (via posts, pm, social meets etc and find people I 'click' with) than go out and pick someone up in a nightclub at weekends for the sake of a quick (and probably unsatisfying) shag! Via SH, I can get the quality sex rather than quantity because I specifically look for like-minded people who I can interact with socially on SH and at munches etc and see what happens from there in terms of mutual fun. Is that a long-winded way of saying I'm picky?? lol wink

The other up-side to SH is that when I'm not at work, or I'm stuck in the house, I still have a social life! I'm meeting and chatting to people who would not usually be within my 'vanilla' social circle - and that's cool, because we're all here for the same thing, regardless of colour, class and sexual orientation. :thumbup:

unfortunately that person was bluexxx.....if i remember rightly i was executed....hung ....drawn and quartered......and placed in boiling pitch.... around town by a team of mad horses......
but...i have to admit....she picked me up after and put me back together after with ointment and baby cream......and we get on like a house on fire now...

Well I am in a celibate marriage and don't like it one bit .. so I am seeking to do something about it.
Hesitated about coming here as I thought everyone was just doing casual one night stands with no friendship or emotion ... far too cold for me and it took me ages after registering to start getting involved.
