What do you call those?? Advertisement or jokes??

I have been arround this site for quite sometime now as well as few other swinger sites and what i have seen in some cases is this, that, some people are advertising as a couple and when you reply they get back to you saying, yes i would love to meet you sometimes, but i am sorry my wife/girlfriend/wotever can not be there with me as she is not in the scene at the moment or she is busy. I mean if you are a single guy then put up a add for a single guy, don't lie/fake and say i am a couple and then turn up on your own. Me and my girlfriend are in this scene prety new compare to a lot of others in this site but we have faced this problem soo many times by now. we never put up any add because most of the time one of us is busy at the weekend and we can not arrange something as cpl. So we only talk to ppl and try arranging something online by talking to them most of the time. sometimes we do go on our own but oviously we both know about it and we are happy about it too. but its a shame that sometimes you like an add and reply but you get those sort of responses. It's really sad that how some people like to trick the others.
I was just wondering if any one like us has faced this problem at all??
(There are soo many timewasters out there now that I have nearly given up trying contacting people. Hope one day we will have a community with-out those time wasters. We can always hope for hte best biggrin

I can understand your frustration but don't be too hasty to tar everyone with the same brush.
When I was part of a couple another couple contacted us and we arranged a social meet in a hotel bar. On the night it turned out that the sitter they had arranged had fallen through and the guy asked if it was ok if he meet us on his own.
It was only a social meet so we agreed to go ahead with it and had a couple of hours chatting to this guy in the hotel bar after which we went our separate ways.
As it turns out I'm the one no longer in a couple and the guy we met has since invited me back to his place to take part in a mmf with him and his partner and we had a bloody good evening.
Yes.....timewasters, pic collectors, etc, etc, but don't be too quick to judge, you might regret it.

It's not me who is getting upset with it, its my other half and it turned really hard for me now to play with her in a cpl to cpl action. she rather have 1 on 1 not cpl since all this happed to us. oh well. i guess things happens but i am happy that i have made some good friends and thats all i need to keep myself happy, anythng else, would be just bonus. I will keep trying though. Because of the above reason sometimes i often call myself single when it comes up to replying an add. but if anyone wants to talk to my other half to clear things up, they are more than welcome to do so. biggrin
