What do you think about at the dentist?

What do you think about when you are in the dentist's chair. I was told that if I thought about something it would take my mind off the horrors being inflicted on me. However, I found that I really couldn't concentrate with the dentist playing around in my mouth.
What do you do?

i normally avoid dentsts at all costs but if its needs must then i think about whats for tea redface

I was at the dentists yesterday spookily but as we were doing a little swinging business that evening I guess thats what I thought about.

Join the club, I was there today (Fri) and I have to say that a gorgeous Greek lady dentist certainly made the experience much more pleasurable than it normally is.
Still got a bloody toothache though sad

I hate the dentist :scared: I used to have a gorgeous dentist who was very sweet and patient and he was very easy to perv over :twisted: but the guy I have now is built like the proverbial with hands like shovels :shock:

bloody saddists..the lot of them
Oh I hate the dentists...its time they did something about the smell as well...that antiseptic smell as soon as you walk in..it puts me on edge straight away.
They won't let you close your eyes either...I mean I do not want to see a great big pointy thing coming towards my mouth making a shreeching sound...and the dentist standing there with a satanic smile on his face..saying open wide now !!!!!

As I don't have painkiller when I go to the dentist I try to remember poetry when the dentist is drilling, which really doesn't last as long as you think it does. The only time I have had injections was for having my wisdom teeth removed and that was worse than going cold turkey. I recently had an "inlay??" done on one of my teeth and the drilling for that was nasty but still didn't last as long as the injection would have. I have a good relationship with my dentist. She knows what will happen if she hurts me too much wink
