I just signed in to the new look sh, I think it is looking good, might take a little time to get around it, but looks easy enough.

At risk of sounding like someone who "just needs to get used to it"- I've only had five minutes but the the thing that strikes me is the colours/font in the forum- vile. Horrible to read for me, and I have 6/6 vision.

I am having a look about, what I did notice is that on my profile it had up one of my private pictures, dont know if others in the new style would have looked at my profile and seen it, but removed it promptly from view :shock:

I am not 100% sure on it..
The skins seems very 'CBBC' now rather than 'BBC News'
There is loads of colour, a lot of space around things. The site is cleaner, but all the colour is a bit distacting. But I suppose it is one of those things that you get used to. I need to use it a lot more to see if it is more functional...
I can say though, no one can say that you have not made many changes.. lol

Plus for those who need it there is a spell checker, :embarrased: at the bottom right corner when you type your post. :bounce:

That is because of the mass use of different colours, rounded boxs and heavy use of borders.
These are things which you will soon get used to. I think speed, else of use, functionality will be the real test..

Already been on trial to sort the bugs etc - this is a gentle ease into the new look, you can still use the old site for the moment.

Is there / will there be a tweak for this to tell the site to use all available screen width?

I find it almost unusable ...
I would like to do something like look for ads from woman or couples, looking for single males or groups with 35 miles of my location. Was so easy to do on the old system .

How do you get into it? I saw it on the first screen when I logged on - now I have no way to get back to it. Can't see it when I close SH and reopen it. Have I lost my only chance to get into it?

Can you not logout and then back in again .. ?
If not then it must store your choice somewhere, so either on there site or in your local cookie.
