To be honest, I dont use the BBW room because of it being for big girls, and I hadnt really thought much about the title of the room. I use it because it is friendly, loads of laughs and there is always someone to have a good old natter to :wink:
I agree with you there babes i found the room totally by mistake and, as soon as i came in i was made to feel totally at home and soooo welcome. I have now made some great friends and i have also dragged the other half in who to me is the most beautifull BBW in the world but shhh don't tell her i said that lol and together we have had some real laughs! Anyhow back to the point in hand. To me it does not matter if it's Big Beautifull Woman, or Big Buxom Woman your all gorgeous women in your all special way!! Be it wether you are big boobed, big middle or big bottomed... i think Queen summed it up best of all in there song Fat Bottomed Girls " Fat bottemed girls you make the rocking world go round!!" And to me there is no finer or sexier :wink: woman in the world than a 'large' lady who thinks i am the best, most beautiful creature to walk this planet (and it does not matter if you are dressed/semi-dressed or naked) it is just sooo lovelyand it makes me sooo horny to see that twinkle in your eyes when a 'large lady thinks that!!

what really annoys me is when people say...so what all big people are beautiful :doh: to me the phase big beautiful women mean big IS beautiful not all people people are beautiful that would just be silly to suggest everyone of any size is good looking lol
I think most women use the term BBW just as a way to let other know they are a + size that all.

This is a very good point, but perhaps it refers to not just physical beauty but spiritual as well? I think you're right in that it's more of a political statement which emphasizes the personality as well.

This is why I use the term BBW... Just to make sure anyone who may show an interest isn't dissapointed once they see your a plus size... We all have our preferences i.e. "Tall, Short, Slim, Cuddly, smokers, Non smokers, Drinkers, Tee-totals, Submissive, Dominant, Gay, NSA, Straight, Bi" etc
Im a big girl... I also know I AM beautiful.. on the INSIDE.. and Im definately a woman

BBW has long been a euphemism/acronym used to prevent offending larger woman but how come there's never been one for guys? We can be offended just as much as women can yet there's no male equivalent.

Isn't the male equivalent is just fb (fat bastard) but then it's followed with a little chuckle, and the line 'it's all paid for' said while wobbling beer belly.
BBW I thought was big busted/boodied woman. I never associated it with fat. Oh well, live and learn I suppose.

ok im not so vain to think every one will think im beautiful, but i pretty much like what i see in the mirror facially, i dont gve a toss about my size, and i am a very caring considerate person whith a beautful soul.
when ppl contct me re a meet i make it clear ( amongest other things) i am a bigger woman. what REALLY F**Ks me off is when ppl say , awhh dont put your self down. umm where when and how was that putting myself down? i was mearly making it clear about my size as so many horned up ppl only see the single female ne in my profile lol
i have met ppl who have said they were 6 ft etc etc turn up older shorter blah blah... i dont want any shocks or my time wasted or scarded to say no shags/ meets when ppl meet me.
im honest and not dim enough to think some ppl are not attracted to the bigger female, just as they may not like the fact im blonde, etc.
personally i am attracted to the person on the whole, but lets be honest, initially most ppl are attracted to the physical.

interesting question is tho......what size does a bbw start from? because you can ask 10 people this and get several diffarent answers, i have offen asked this and have been told its a 16+ but also have been told that bbw id a 20+ and as a size 16 is average now days its not classed as big any more? but a guy once said he didn't class anyone under a size 26 as a bbw, but then i was turned down by a guy who said he didnt like bbw's and im a size 12 ish (ok a big 12 lol), so i think opinions on what a bbw is all comes down to personal taste depending on what size you like, the bigger or smaller you like women will effect what you class a bbw as.

For me, curvy is someone who has the same proportions as a slim woman but just bigger. Like the models used for Evans - flat(ish) tummies, curvy hips and toned thighs but in a size 18.
BBWs on the other hand may have specific problem areas ... ample bums and tums for example (the old apple and pear thing). We BBWs definitely have curves ... but they just may be curving in non-standard directions biggrin

And I also think BBws are definitely over a size 18 (in my humble opinion) - the guy who told naughtynympho she was a bbw at a size 12 should perhaps consider he may have a worrying closet 'thing' for teenage boys!

I think... as has been said already i think its a less degorgitory term to describe us girls with over average proportions, being invented by those who appreciate us and therefore think our female form is beautiful. I have no issue with the beautiful bit, not because i am, but because its an appreciative term used about us if u see what i mean. I dont think its vain. Its describing a lovely wobbly body not aimed at a persons face smile

Mrs B!! Now you've got me thinking!!
I too think that a lot of people would say a BBW was the type of woman you would see as a plus size model - 16-18, and curvy. Some would say "voluptuous" or "rubenesque". I don't have a problem with the word "beautiful" as I believe its not just looks that makes one beautiful.
And for us women- I really don't think men see us and our wobbly bits as we do. When they see a confident sexual woman its that they are attracted to and the wobbly saggy bits pale into insignificance! (especially when they are horny!!)
I also like men to know just how big I am as there are some that would not like it and that's fine! Just like I am not naturally attracted to short, hairy men!! (Like Ewoks!!!)
