After reading another thread it made me wonder.
Is it just me or do others have certain words that, when they hear them or see them written down, have to have a little chuckle?
The word that makes me laugh is dongle lol where do such words come from? Who invents them?
My little cousin calls me wicolas
instead of nicholas
I find that slightly amusing
Great minds think alike! I took a blind lady to her over 60's tea party today, and we were actually talking about words that made you laugh... as soon as I told them about getting a dongle for my pc.. they were all in fits.. thought I would have to call 999 for some of them!!!

Just realised it was my reply on a post that got you laughing.....
Glad I inspired you!! Just phoned my 71 year old friend to see if she had recovered.. and said I was still playing with my dongle.... She was still giggling as I got off the phone to her!!
PS I have no idea who thought this word up.. definately someone with a sense of humour!!
:giggle:
Not so much a word....but..
the ship I used to crew on had a sail called the "Spanker." It needed a "party" of people to man it.
Hearing the Mizzen Mast Captain yell "SPANKER PARTAAY" across the deck at the top of his lungs always cracked me up- no matter how many passengers we had on board. :lol2:
And to make matters worse....the Spanker could be "cocked" banghead
Gra is always getting his dongle out when he is away and wants to chat to me!!!!!!!!!
:silly:

This always makes me chuckle on here when a lady is on cam and someone says " get ya puppies out ".
Now I have heard many names for them before, but was a new one on me. Why call em puppies anyways? Anyone have any idea?
