What happened to good manners?

Hi everyone. I'm fairly new here so probably don't understand what goes on that much, and perhaps I'm a bit old fashioned, but if someone places an ad, and promises to reply if you enclose a picture and comply with all of their requests, why don't people have the decency to even read the mail? Is it so time consuming to respond and say thank you for your resposne but you are not exactly what we were looking for, but have fun anyway! If manners are lacking ion a website and in emails what are they likely to be like in the bedroom (or anywhere else that floats your boat of course!) Perhaps its my age, perhaps I don't understand how these things work, perhaps I am old-fashioned, or perhaps I am very ugly and din't realise it! I understand of course that there are people who might not be able to respond because they are not paying members, but what happened to the remainder; those who a quick mail response doesn't cost anything? Unfortunately, having previously joined other websites for meeting people, and having been completely disillusioned because most of the 'members' are ficticious and only there to create income for the webmasters, one becomes cynical about all sites. I hope that it is not the case with this one. I'm just an honest guy, wanting to experience everything that adult fun has to offer (well almost everything!) Maybe other members are just as sceptical as me! I would be interested to know your opinions. And if there are any nice couples out there who might like to read my profile and perhaps put me right where I'm obviously going wrong; I would very much appreciate it. Hi John and welcome to SH wave

Now you've experienced one of the first disappointments of this site ( or any for that matter ) it's a case of forget it and move on. We all go through the non replies, people not reading your profile properly, sending winks when you specifically state you don't want them, arranging meets only for the others not to turn up or let you down at the last minute etc etc etc.
Your profile is quite good, you've at least taken the time over it ( though you might want to lose the cock shot and try a torso pic instead wink

) and I don't think your age is cause for concern.
Join in the fun here and get to meet people at munches and socials, get yourself known and try the chatrooms. Above all, don't take this sort of thing to heart, it's not personal. Just have fun ! :thumbup:
