THIS from BBC news
I didn't know whether to put this on this thread or the "What made you smile today?" thread.
A 7 year-old boy did a sponsored bike ride to help out the children in Haiti.

I just read that too

Missing Bart so much its so painful. I cant do everything by myself, tried to go outside to tidy up the garden and actually vomitted picking up the dog shit. God im such a bloody wuss! Having to do the house, walk the dogs, go shopping and entertain my youngest all by myself.... i just cant do it! My heart is too heavy. Missing Bart cooking me poached eggs on toast on a Sat morning, feeling lonely, hopeless and simply alone. Dont see the point anymore...

You're not a wuss sweetie, you're in pain and grieving and it's all very very natural. You have people who care for you and will help you through this even if just to listen. PM me anytime you feel the need Suze kiss

After having to lose my temper big time with my daughters school....which made me cry !!
I lost my temper because they are the biggest fuck ups you ever had the misfortune to meet.
I just signed in to my emails to find the letter of apology.....
So what`s wrong with that I hear you cry !!!
It`s addressed to the wrong fuckin person !!! banghead:banghead::banghead:

awww hun can totally sympathise :therethere:
got a meeting at the school tonight over my youngest and i am planning to let them have it both barrels but i'm sure the tears will come too i often cry when angry through sheer frustration i'm not the brightest button in the box so in those situations they often talk me into confusion
they claim to of been trying to get hold of me for a while as things have reached crisis point yet there have been no messages on our answer phone and no missed calls on either mine or mr b's mobs and no letters in the post so they haven't exactly tried very hard have they when the first time they called i answered
:fuckinghell:
not looking forward to it at all

I totally know when u are coming from there. It is extremely frustrating, you try to do what u think is right and get told it's wrong. You're confidence drops like a lead balloon.
When this happened to me, I cried endlessly over it. I ended up talking to the manager about it and my personal tutor, as I was uni. It helped me, even just the talking about it.
Big hugs to u chick kiss

good luck, take a written list of point you wantto address abnd dont be afraid to refer to it,if you feel they are confusing you ask them to repeat untill you do understand.
I too cry when i get angry ,counting to 10 and regulating my breathing really helps .
Its too late for tonight but if it is an ongoing situation contacting your local parent support network may help for any future meetings, they may be able to send an advocate with you next time
And dont start me on admin and schools!
awww ty hunny for your help but thankfully it all went really well the guy we saw was the head and he was great he appologised straight away and admitted that they hadn't made a full effort to inform us of the situation sooner and they were going to do everything they could to sort out the problem
so absolutly no tears left there feeling much more confident that our lad will complete his A levels well 2 of them at least still gutted he has to drop one of them but that has been purely down to his own attitude not the school so can't be mad at them so at least we now know we got to kick his butt daily and make sure work is being completed and not just trust his word plus he has promised to complete them before starting phase one of his army training so was a good day after all
