I have read a lot of post recently where is seems a lot are questioning on couples opinions of single males and single males opinions of couples.
I am part of a couple that look for single guys, we have met some great guys.
I have heard the way in chat rooms that single males talk to couples and visa versa and I sometimes make a comment, as I think both sides have let themselves down.
I believe treat all as they come I get couples with Bi females talking to me, Bi females too. I am a straight female but I still would talk to them and be polite have a laugh.
Some would not and get offensive, as would single straight guys that get spoken to by Bi or gay men, I am not just here to meet single males but to just get on with the human race.
We are all here for a purpose, but in doing so can all still have manners.
As for this site and the forums.
When I first came here I felt alone unsure and at some times paranoid these are feeling I had trouble with at first, it takes time to be accepted into any walk of life.
It is what you say that course people to have opinions of you, how you conduct yourself etc.
I found the forums a bit like most new people here I felt picked on a bit ganged up against, but with time and reading between the lines this just isn’t the case in here, just seems it a little at first.
All It is, is people that know nothing about you trying to build up an image of what you are like in mind how you think etc, if you don’t shake off the paranoid feelings you have you will never survive here.
We have all felt it at sometime we were all new once.
Just relax and enjoy, it just takes time.
Just trying to be helpful
Sorry folks hope this made some sort of sense

It's always happened, and undoubtedly will continue. There will always be threads which appear to 'bash' groups of people. People will always be paranoid and their perception of a comment will depend on their attitude.

I didn't, I saw it as agreeing with you smile

But do you agree with me Sparky? lol
Quote by sparky33
I do yes.
Some people just don't read enough into what I say and why, others do, those that take it on face value tend to take it the wrong way, those that apply a little thought and attention, do get it (you know who you are wink ).

I have been taken the wrong way on a few occasions it just takes time patience and persistence.

So have I - just ignore the fuckwits! lol
I think it's usually quite clear what I mean, it's just that some people take umbrage and see differing viewpoints as criticism.

Surely it should be the other way round.
If you want to get your point across then the onus is on you to do it in such a way that the correct point is the one seen first, the "face value" one.
If people have to look deeper to see what you actually mean then it's you that has failed in communicating it, not the reader for not understanding what you were really thinking. They are forum readers FFS, not mind readers. rolleyes

And clearly lacking the intelligenmce in that case to not realise the fact that as the unspoken word has no tone or emotion, it can be taken in many different ways.
Peanut lol

All the more reason to try to communicate one's point without having to resort to the very unreliable "unspoken word". If one does rely on said unspoken word then one can hardly complain when one's point is lost and/aor misinterpreted.
Do you have to get up very early to dig for all that bait? My uncle used to set out at sunrise

You write 'em, and I just call 'em as I see them.
