There appears to be a lot of interest in cuckolding and is always a chat room open which has cuckolding in its name. This poses the question - what is the modern day definition and interpretation of cuckolding in the swinging community, when safe sane and consensual terms are agreed between husband and wife?
We were a femdom couple that played with male chastity and agreed to always play as a couple. Who calls the shots the ‘bull’ or the wife? Does the ‘cuck’ have any say in the matter? Should a meeting that was set up as a social be hijacked by the ‘bull’ without the ‘cuck’ knowing, to take full advantage of a vulnerable wife?
I paste the Wikipedia versions.

A cuckold (or cuck) is a married man with a sexually unfaithful wife. In current usage it sometimes refers to non-married couples as well, although the common and traditional meaning is a man who is a victim of his wife's adultery.
The term has acquired additional meanings among sexual fetishists, referring to couples where a dominant female takes on additional partners, while a submissive male is either monogamous to her, denied sex altogether, or only allowed to perform a restricted range of sex acts with her.
Cuckolding may also be part of the practice of male dominant-female submissive couples. A submissive wife may be "naughty" with another man with her husband's knowledge and permission, then return to tell him about the betrayal and submit to punishment from the husband.
Cuckolding among female-dominant couples differs from the original definition of cuckolding in that many of these men are "voluntarily" "cuckolded" by their wives, as part of the husband's sexual fantasy of gaining sexual pleasure from being humiliated by his wife; indeed, the husband may even be the instigator of this practice, raising questions about who is truly the dominant partner. This is a common theme in letters to erotica magazines.
In the fantasy realm, the wife of a cuckold is sometimes referred to as a hotwife. In a broader context, the contrast between a cuckold and bull is sometimes used to summarize an individual's personality or behaviour; the male third party, or "bull" representing an aggressive alpha male and the cuckold suggesting weakness, fear and vulnerability.

Cuckold is a term that is becoming more & more popular in swinging circles but what exactly does the term mean?
Basically the Cuckold is the male partner (cuck) in a marriage or relationship whose wife (referred to as the cuckoldress or hotwife) openly has sex with other males (referred to as bulls). Historically, where the term originates, this wasn't done for sexual gratification on the male/couples part but to humiliate the weak husband.
As part of the modern day swinging scene this act is not secretive and so not an affair, the cuck is fully aware that his partner is engaging in sexual activities with other men and is more often than not present to watch them having sex. This is not the same as general swinging as he will not be involved in the actual sex acts and only one other male is present, not another couple.
Swingers cuckoldry can be split into two types with the cuckold husbands being typically submissive or dominant, which for some is a serious position whilst others just part of their swinging sexual role play:
Submissive Cuckold
As the male becomes the submissive partner the female then takes on the submissive role which can just mean that the cuck is 'made' to watch while she has sex with her bull or in more of a dominatrix role she can humiliate her cuckold husband by making him perform oral sex on the bull showing that she has complete control over both of them.
Other variations of the scenario can include the cuckold male being made to do traditionally female chores around the house whilst the female is having sex with the bull, the cuck driving the female to the bulls house and to wait outside until she is finished or for more of a bondage slant the cuck may be tied up in order to force him to watch the action and restrained so that he can not relieve his own sexual tension so to speak.
Whichever scenario is played out the submissive cuckold male gains his sexual arousal through being humiliated and knowing that his wife/partner is being pleasured sexually by another male.
Dominant Cuckold
A distinct move away from the traditional cuckold, but in this instance the male doesn't get sexual gratification from the humiliation side of the act but from the fact he is in control, gets a kick from being the voyeur and watching his wife being serviced by other males. He will often be the instigator of the scenario and he will be the one who chooses the bulls for the cuckoldress who then becomes the submissive partner.
Another main difference is that the cuck will often get involved in the sexual activity in as much as he will tell the cukoldress and bull what he wants them to do, maybe telling them to change positions so he gets a better view or to do different sex acts to each other.
The whole domineering act is taken further by some cuckold husbands where a slightly more bondage feel is obtained by the cuck blindfolding and possibly even restraining his wife/female partner so that she cannot see the bull and is therefore totally submissive to the whole experience.
In either case it is quite normal for the cuckold to have sex with his wife when the bull has left and for some their cuckold scenario can utilise more than one bull.
Interesting.
I never really understood this as a fetish or preference, but I'd be interested to know what aspect of it appeals to others.
:welcome: to the forum by the way, I don't believe I've had the pleasure of chatting with you before.
