An example, last week I brought home a carton(3LTRS)of wine smile

.......now my thinking was while in the supermarket, by the time I buy 3 bottles I may as well buy a carton, well it is about the same price(and you get a bit more) cool

MrsFc was shocked but
It all went the same night......... redface

Did I do wrong ?
Should you buy more rather than less...... dunno

depending on what yo buy its generally more expensive, especially when you have the whole thing infront of you. An open bottle/bag in box just has to be finished, dont know where that rule came from but its always abided by :giggle:

I must admit that I am of the 'buy cheap, buy twice' brigade for the most part, although I have been surprised on a number of occasions :D
Wine being one of them, so many times have I poured a 'bottle of vinegar' down the loo lol. I am no coinoisseur but I have tried a good few, so called 'vintage, quality wines' and have been soo unimpressed on occasion. Going back to my surprise in terms of,in this case, wine, cutting a very long story short, my ex came home with a bottle of St Jean from Aldi and it was/is soooooo soo yummy :D
that would be a loss leader these days you cant make a profit on that cheap, you pay a bottle in tax thats before any other costs of making it shipping it, then you have VAT :shock:

:lol: if I was there you would need two cartons at least :lol: :lol:
During summer I love to drink lots of wine - in the winter months I drink less but as spring is now summer and winter is now spring I suppose I will just have to drink all year round :lol: :lol:
