I don't know if it's just me getting old...but i do wonder how swinging at a young age will affect the future of some people. I think that as we get used to certain activities we need more stimulation to get the same effect. The first time u see porn for instance its amazing, then it gets boring.
So if you start to swing at the age of 20, and have seen and done every kind of play by 30..where do u go from there?

I think the answer to that depends on why you swing in the first place. If it's just because you want the buzz of doing something different or that society considers 'alternative', then you will get bored and move on to something else. If you swing because you believe sex is a fun thing to do with other people you get on with, and has no more to do with any emotional relationship you may have than if you play tennis or go dancing with others, then you will play as long as you enjoy playing and others enjoy playing with you:-)

Though i really think i'm far too young to swing.

I don't usually go for more than a 10year age difference but it's down to the person themselves - their attitude and maturity. I've known guys much closer to my age who don't have the right attitude for me and much younger guys with whom I click instantly.
Maybe you're right - it was just a polite way of saying no - does it matter? I struggle to find the words "you're not goodlooking enough for me"
so if ever I say "you're not what I'm looking for right now" then you know! 
I do think too many people think age = experience within swinging. I'm very tired of older guys trying to persuade me to meet on the basis that they're older, therefore more experienced and know what they're doing.
so don't fall into that trap! Just accept the rejection and move on.

Too young when it comes to swinging is anyone under 18.
I have been here since i was 18, i'm 22 now, so i understand that a lot of people you'd like to play with may find you too young.
But this is their personal preference. Swinging has a varied community where rules and boundaries are personal, not a whole.
This is what makes it all so complicated. I think some people may consider 18 or 22 to be too young for personal reasons, however personality comes into it too.
Having read some of your posts Chaotic_Spirit, and seen you in the chatrooms, I wouldn't have any problems playing with you, as you come across as more mature than your age would indicate.
However these things work both ways, some may consider that people beyond a certain age are to old for swinging.

To be perfectly honest, who cares either? Whether it's a polite way of saying something else, or whether it's their actual reason for saying 'no', they still said 'no'. You're obviously not what they are looking for, so move on.
Age is just a number; it's no indicator for suitability or compatibility.

Thats how I look at swinging....some people go to the cinema or pub with mates, or to the gym with mates, as a social thing. swinging is just where you have sex with your (non vanilla) mates for the same reason.
