Switched to Darren Hayes today and a bit of Dru Hill.
bought of load of new stuff last week, so favourite's would be slightly biased!...but here goes:P
NYC Live Portishead (greatest album ever)
But really like anything........I'm a music slut!, what can I say redface
but, at the mo,
Kasabian, Jet, Killers, Depeche mode, Audioslave (excellent), stereophonics :d
As for the old classics, nothing wrong with dylan, eurythmics, fleetwood mac, pink floyd.....too many to mention cool and anything from the 80's is good by me lol
oh and if you ever want to "get in the mood"
Blackstreet, no diggity
You see now?
Music is very close to the heart of many on this site. Perhaps it is something to do with creativity and connection with life?
Please let me sort out some music at a munch (advice from mods req'd) for people to listen to.
Plus this thread is doing well despite the fear of being locked.

im listening to loads of Kings of Leon at the moment, both albums are quality, plus Bob Dylan, discovered Bob far to late! And all my usual stuff,The Doors, Pearl Jam, Pink Floyd, i love my music!
Having a New Order fest at the minute. But I can't get away from Joy Division.
I am seriously thinking of having a tattoo in memory of Ian Curtis (the lead singer of Joy Division) He hung himself when he was only 23 y o.
I am thinking about having the image of the single " Love will tear us apart again" done.
This is a serious request now .
What do you think??????????????
Bell
I've got a bit of Block Party - Silent Alarm on @ the moment closely followed by the sexy Willy Mason.
Can you tell I'm a bit of an Indie chick?
Mmm Willy :P
Right now I'm tuned into some classic Iron Maiden.. 'Can I play with Madness' - What a track!
hell yeh!! bring your daughters to the slaughter!!
:laughabove:
Aye, ye canna beat a bit o' Maiden! "Run to the hiiiilllllls" wink
Bloody hell! I woke up to Girls Aloud 'What Will The Neighbours Say?', went to work listening to Lacuna Coil 'Comalies' and now i'm listening to Echo & The Bunnymen 'Ocean Rain'. Bit of a mixed bag eh?
bauhaus...the singles collection, damn, no wonder i feel so good at the moment...bela lugosi's dead, and sanity assasin, and not forgetting...in the flat field, and their cover of ziggy stardust...nearly better than the original
Robert Plant - The Mighty Rearranger album.
God, after all these years, that guy can still rock, I am sure his voice just gets better and better, even though he can't hit the high notes like he used to do.
Lullabies to Paralyse by Queens of the Stone Age worship :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:

What's it like compared to "Songs for the Deaf" ( best driving album IMHO ) and what's it like without Nick Oliveri ( can't afford it till I get my payrise  )

My view is slightly clouded by the fact that Josh Homme is incredibly fuckable but I think it's fantastic, maybe not as instantly accessible as songs for the deaf but still a damn good piece of work. Some very sexy stuff on there too, 'Skin on Skin' gets me going! biggrin
ps Songs for the Deaf is a brilliant driving album!!! Best place to listen to it!
The amount of times I'm on the M2 or M25, doing 75-ish, then I get "Go With The Flow" or "First It Giveth", or it starts again with "Milliionaire" and my foot gets heavier!
To all members of the gavvering community flipa :flipa: :flipa: If I got QOTSA on you have got to catch me first lol
theres evil in the air and thunder in the sky cool

i personally cant listen to qotsa on account of listening to kyuss and unida first, they make qotsa seem like diet kyuss. josh homme was just playing guitar in that band and vocals were john garcia who has a voice that sounds like liquid fuck filled with gravel. the production on the albums sounds like thunder as well. if you like qotsa, then get some, especially if you liked that first qotsa album with the thong on the front.
Clubland Hardcore biggrin
Love abit of trance and dance Ohh and house music :D
