What really happened on Munch Night!

I’m sure we all know people who don’t give a shit what other people think of them and are perfectly happy to just blaze around not giving a monkeys if they hurt other people or not, we all know these types exist, maybe even there are members on here like that.
I for one am NOT one of those people and I definitely DO give a shit about how people perceive me. If I do inadvertently hurt someone and I know about it, I am quick to apologise and to attempt to put right what wrong I have done. I know for a fact that Angel is also NOT the type of person to do what they like regardless of the consequences (at least when sober!)
Now it would appear that some munchers opinions of me are now tainted slightly (well a bloody lot I reckon!) by what sentences Angel Chat’s vodka marinated brain was stringing together at around I’m not going to deny that things have been less than perfect between us for a while what with us living far a part and both of us leading busy lives, spending time together is tricky. But what was said and done in my absence on Saturday night has left me nothing short of infuriated. There was a very valid reason for my early departure on Saturday night – I left to go to my room BEFORE I said something out of turn or nasty it’s a shame that someone else didn’t do just that too. I am a decent bloke and given the circumstances did the right thing as such deserve to be treated accordingly.
I am not posting this with an aim to make Angel Chat look any less angelic but purely to set the record straight with those of you who were talking to her that night and who have talked since, and to restore some of my dignity and self respect which has been lost through no fault of my own.
We have spoken about this thread and Angel agreed this to be a worthwhile exercise because needless to say she is redface about it too. It is not intended to be a thread for her to stumble across later this afternoon/evening so don’t go flaming me for this as well as everything else you have been told!
I have been a member on here for 7 months and this is only the 3rd thread I have started and its just a shame it had to be something so serious
I’m posting immediately after Se7, to show that I support him in his right to defend his dignity and self respect.
I’ve already made one or two references to just how drunk I was on Saturday, and I think I’ve also made it clear that I’m not happy with myself about that. I’m lucky that Se7 knows the sober me, because he made allowances at the time, but not everyone has that knowledge.
As he has said, things haven’t been perfect for us recently, and it appears that certain unresolved issues were brought up – by me – in my drunken state. Having discussed it with him since, I’m as sure as I can be that this is the case. Unfortunately I can’t actually remember redface
As he points out, I’m not the kind of person to just let a wrong that I have caused go “un-righted” which is why I encouraged him to start this thread when he mentioned he was thinking about it. I said a lot of things that should have been kept private, and can only blame myself for the fact that our “dirty laundry” is now being aired in public, after all, it was me that brought it to so many people’s attention sad
Se7 and I are still in negotiations about whether or not we're still a couple, but I have a feeling that whatever happens, we will be staying friends – and we won't be splitting up because of Saturday night. It’s more the fact that my behaviour on Saturday was a symptom of the problems we already have.
He didn’t deserve my badmouthing him on Saturday night, and I will be having a serious look at my drinking habits, because there have been a few times recently where I’ve been embarrassed about my behaviour while under the influence.
I’m sure most of you will appreciate that this isn’t an easy thread for either of us, and I’d like to take this opportunity to point out that my name has always been somewhat tongue in cheek – I’m far from Angelic. Lucifer said in another thread that alcohol and a pissed off me don’t mix well. I think that’s the case for a great many people and I am DEFINITELY one of them.
I’ve already apologised to Se7 in private, but would like to do so again now. He’s a bloody good bloke, and I only wish that our circumstances were different because then we could definitely carry on as a couple :( kiss
Im so gutted that so many people are having so many problems one way or another
But as far as you both go,neither me or Steve noticed anything so dont worry about the impressions you made on others, just think about yourselves, sod everyone else.
Well I for one do sincerely hope you work it out between you - you're both lovely people and you make one hell of a couple cool
kiss to you both
I don't think is anyone's business but yours. Good luck!
I have no idea what this is about! I was in the hotel bar but sitting some way away from you guys, if I can recall correctly. You see, I can't even remember where I was or nevermind what was going on!
I have heard nothing about other people's opinions regarding anything Angel_Chat might have said.
Whatever your difficulties may be, even if others heard about them, I'm sure those people would realise that this is nothing to do with them and leave you both to resolve those issues together.
Take care the both of you!

I also knew little of what occured, but then I was stuck under a cloak for quite a large portion of the night!!!
I salute you both for having the courage to defend one anothers dignity in public despite your own personal misgivings.
Love and hugs.

I was there and bizarrely sober. Didn't notice a thing. Not between you guys or anyone else.
Had a brill time at the pub and in the hotel bar after.
(But, TBH had a better one in the hour or so in between biggrin )
Must say I with Vix on this one, drinking Coke all night I didn't see a thing. Hope you find a good solution peeps, never nice to fall out but happens to us all sometimes.
I'm sorry to read about all this - I wasn't around that late so have no idea what was said, but I like you both and hope that you continue to get on well together.
Mike xx
Like some others I wasn't there.
I have met you both and I wish you both luck and love.
I have great admiration for you for posting this publicly - it must have been a difficult decision.
Alcohol can taint your judgement and when emotions run high - things can be said which are never meant!
I am sure you will work things out one way or the other - and stay friends!
My love and hugs to both of you!

Its really nice to see that 2 people who might have differences in private that unfortunately spill over to public with the aid of alcohol can be so grown up and be able to put those diferences aside ..........................
We were in the bar and never noticed a thing ............so havent got the faintest idea what went on
Hope you both can make the best of it and good luck to each of you kiss

I think this is a really brave thread for both of you but to be honest it really isn't any of our business now.....I hope you two work it out......but we're all here for BOTH of you if you need us....

I missed the Notts Munch regrettably, but I couldn't have put the above better. Best of luck to both of you.
And a quick edit to say............. I've put my foot in "it" often enough to know that Angel, you must be feeling awful at the moment, so I sympathise deeply.
I was only in the bar for a few minutes and didn't see anything, but if the maturity and honesty you two put into those posts are anything to go by, you'll get this problem sorted out properly in no time. Much respect to both of you fo rthe way you've done this.
