What thoughts come to you on reading threads or posts here?

I was just reading a reply to a thread that really made me laugh.
The thought that came to me was.. If you ask a stupid question you might just get a stupid answer. rotflmao

Other made me think what a very well thought out logical answer. :idea:
Others I feel move on you said that before. rolleyes

Others I just read, I wondering what are they or talking about and leaves me feeling confused. rolleyes

What do you think on reading different peoples threads or posts?

Pretty much the same as you, Minx - depends who started it, or answered - and what they said really.

I like the discusssion
The way you slowly discover people. What they say how they say it. It can be like along slow seduction. Or a short sharp OMG!!!

I have developed a healthy respect, affection even, for some Forumites through reading their posts over a period of time.
Then there are others who I now think :rascal: or silly

and then there's others with whom I have disagreed and thought this rolleyes

Yep got to agree there.
Funny how you can make an assumption about aperson by what they write and how the come across in the forum.
It's a bit easier in chat cos it is more a spur of the moment thing and they don't have the time to think before they type their reply.
Probably all the ppl who I think are To**sers are probably great people in real life too wink

That is so true. It is also interesting that some people either confirm or contradict your perception of their character in PM - good or bad.
What is really fantastic though is when you like someone from the forum and they turn out to be top dollar people in real life when you meet them. Works the other way too sometimes, unfortunately.

:thumbup: It sure is fantastic when that happens and so far I can honestly say I have not met anyone who I liked on here and found that in real life they were horrible. However, there have been some who I felt came across as a bit 'harsh' on here but in real life, they were trully lovely :inlove:
As for what I think when I read the posts, I think it depends on the post and on the person, but I think you covered my thoughts in your original post Minx biggrin
