Would be interesting to know who has theirs the earliest and the latest.
I usually have mine between 2 and and make sure we miss the Queens speech lol.
Ok just for the record we are normally dished up and start to eat just in time for the Queens Speech.
*There so now you know*
M xx :smug:
I'm going to sound a bit weird now (or a bit more weird than usual confused ) - but I don't eat Xmas dinner at all. I've done the same for years now, and there's a principle in there somewhere, but I'll be damned if I can remember what it is...... oh yeah, something to do with unnecessary greed.... :? :? :?
OK, going now before I get flamed for being miserable redface :?
I generally have my christmas dinner about quarter past easter.
Wot, no jokes about eating/stuffing birds?
Ho Ho Humbug
I am not really bothered what time i eat my dinner but i do try and miss the queen's speech if possible.
I have never seen a queen's speech from start to finish!! And i would like to keep it that way! lol
I tend to eat dinner around dinner time, ideally this only happens to coincide with my being hungry.
Generally once the hangover from Christmas Eve has subsided enought o let me eat
Although this year i will be traveling up to Scotland on Christmas Eve so as you may have guessed i wont be drinking lol - which leaves me open to have dinner at all sorts of odd times should i wish lol
hmmmmmm Maybe a Christmas Breakfast this year then confused

We don't have Christmas Dinner - however do like to over indulge on Champagne and orange juice - with mugs of warm baileys for our traditional Christmas Breakfast. Yum
We have xmas dinner about 3......That way we turn the tv off so we miss the queens speech!

confused I can't remember a time when christmas dinner was not decided by somebody's working day! :? We have had it at everything from 10 in the morning, to 8 at night!
As a rule though - we have christmas dinner just after the cooking is finished.

The Queen's speech has got to be the longest 5 minutes of the whole year.
When i've gone to my parents at Crimbo, it's usually been about 3 pm 'cos by then we're just about ready for it, having had a massive brekkie, chocolate, nuts, turkish delight .... redface
One year, I volunteered to work on Christmas day rather than do the happy family bollox (I know .. bah, humbug!). It was only 4 hours but I got Xmas dinner there, got home, cracked open the Tia Maria and my mother knocked on the door with another Xmas dinner - all plated up and wrapped in foil!
... right, back to the diet thread!
