We have found the safest way to communicate is by cell phone. We have all been told to never give out our phone number. Unfortunately advice hasn't kept up with technology. It's true never give out your phone number. But that only applies to landlines. From a landline number it's relatively easy to do a reverse number check which will tell you the person's name and their address. But cellphones are different. Unlike landlines they are not registered to an address or a particular if they do become a menace you can always block them or do what we came up with ( we haven't had to do this yet ). If they phoned us, we wouldn't answer. Instead we would set the alarm to wake us at 3:30am. Then we would ring them and tell them we had just got home and seen we had a missed call and thought it might be an emergency. If we kept getting calls from them we would repeat our late night callbacks.
